When I went Disney the pizza I think was around 15/20 (I don’t exactly remember)and the little bakery iteams where about 3/4€ each, but I went in 2019 so it could be a bit more expensive now 🤷🏽♀️but it wasn’t too out of pocket for it being Disneyland and all
Well im sure they are trying to appeal your eyes to get you to buy it, whereas people just buy it based off of what it looks like so they can take a picture of it
Yeah for sure. From my three-month experience there I would say they killed it in the pastry department (at least to my taste) But I cooked my own meals for a majority of the time because nothing stood out as much as I was expecting. Im actually surprised by the lack of Pastries in at the park lol. @@JustROFLGaming
I haven't been to the one in Anaheim since like 2002, yes, that long ago, went to the Paris one in 2023, and even Anaheim more than 20 years ago knocks the Paris one out of the park, if I'm gonna pay for overpriced stuff, at least make it more creative and interesting. I did some research before we went just to see what was available and if reserving a table at Captain Jack's was worth it (it's supposed to be like Blue Bayou, but I looked at the menu and it looked subpar to Blue Bayou), I managed to find a hidden stand that served pineapple whip, and that was maybe the highlight of the day for food for me, lol
never tried a turkey leg but every video i see with one from the US people say it's not that flavorful so i assume a smaller one holds more flavor it even looks more flavorful
I’ve just returned back home to Ireland after visiting Disney World and Universal in Orlando, Florida. Let me tell you, I’ve literally gained a stone after all the amazing food I ate😅
I grew up in Orlando and was fortunate enough to go to Disney often as a kid. And I’m planning to visit Ireland for the first time next year!! Any recommendations for where to visit?
Aww glad you got to enjoy Disney and universal!! I grew up going almost every year and even as an adult, I never get tired of it. And yes it’s easy to gain weight from all the amazing food 😆
@@Andyyoureastarokay i live in northern ireland but all my american friends online say they’ve never had jaffa cakes before, pls try those when you’re there 👍
@@munmunil Don't go after the pastries but the restaurant are great. Ratatouille is really tasty for exemple. Pirates des caraïbes smells so good everytime you are passing by.
@@levannahl.7573 yes ! im french and been to the restaurants (especially Pirates of the caraibes) and its veryy good! In general my food expectations are met by DisneyLand tbh since i just take the same good things i ate last time.
US parks it's about the snacks and quick service, Paris it's the table service restaurants that you want to book. Which fits the local attitude more in all fairness. Paris is the park where it gets busy later in the day, and people go back to the hotel for a nap mid day. It's just more laid back. So enjoy that time and book into the restaurants where the food is actually very good. If you stay on resort I highly recommend the manhattan restaurant in Hotel New York.
I would totally get the turkey leg if they were that size in the US! I never get it bc I don’t think I’d ever be able to finish😂 when I was a kid I used to think they were dinosaur legs
If we had the same size they have in Florida nobody would be able to finish it in France. We are no used to huge food. And also our laws are more strick concerning hormones for chikens/turkeys/catles in general which explain the size.
@@dottyContrarianI recall a chicken thigh in England on fast food counters before the new (now very old laws) came into place. About eight times bigger-ish (memory).
DLP has some really great food...proper food...not snacks. The Pirates of the Caribbean restaurant is great. You should check some of those out if you go back.
Yes girl!! The turkey leg is my favorite. It’s beyond good and totally underrated. Wherever I go, it’s usually the turkey leg and some kind of cinnamon roll. So good! 💚
All the food looked mediocre to me considering the location. The sandwich looked bland and the sweets looked boring. I bet the price was ridiculous as well
The chocolate filled beignet I had on the last day we were there for Christmas was honestly the best thing I had. You definitely need to have the chocolate one cos that one is sooo buttery and even on parts where there is no chocolate it tastes amazing❤
holy moly i think i was there at the same time, the place with the turkey leg surprisingly has a lot of good things on the menu! I was also pleasantly surprised by the Ratatouille restaurant.
I remember when we went to Disney world we got these HUGE ice creams and couldn't finish them. My dad took over and finished all. Suddenly he made a weird face. That's the moment he realized he had diabetes. The doctor confirmed this when we got home.
It's like you were on a diet where the only thing you eat on it is mickey mouse shaped foods. Sounds lovely! Now do one where you only eat Pokémon Pikachu shaped foods for a day!
they all look pretty but i bet it cost a lot 😩

I've seen more expensive options
If I recall correctly, Disneyland Paris is way cheaper than the ones in the US.
That's the point, it's a special occasion thing.
wym all the food looks more dry than my dms😂
I feel like the food is more designed for the photos than the taste 🤣
It’s made for kids with abysmal pallets
1.4 k and one comments let me fix that
Well im sure they are trying to appeal your eyes to get you to buy it, whereas people just buy it based off of what it looks like so they can take a picture of it
The American versions look better and taste better. For example that turkey leg would've been 2x bigger and would've been fresh instead of dry looking
@@Maevelikeschampagnethat too😂
I feel like it's so ironic that disney paris tends to be the park that lacks the most food wise. Even outside of the park it's pretty mid
Exactly! Especially Paris being known for its pastries and baked goods. I’m surprised all the beignets, donuts and other baked items were subpar.
To be fair paris itself is way over hyped for food. Most of it is pretty average even at higher cost resteraunts

that turkey leg is like 1/10 the size of the US version! I bet that's why it's so much better!
Texas state fair turkey legs 🍗😘🔥

that turkey leg looks about half the size of the ones in Florida

The actual Up ice cream is Fenton’s Creamery in Oakland, California. It’s the ice cream shop that the scene of them eating ice cream is based on.
i’m crying bc the turkey leg in Paris is 1/4 of the american ones. that’s freaky.
That is why people in Paris are not obese.
Probably because in USA, we use male turkeys, and they use female which are half the size.

That turkey leg is way smaller than the ones in Florida 😭
And the parisians are way smaller than americans

The british accent ❤️💀

Do you pay in cash or credit card? Or through the app? Is it a cash less venue?
That turkey leg is so small compared to the USA Disney 😂😂
That turkey leg is like the knockoff version but looked goof
