This channel: Nothing that impressive honestly..
This is a bodybuilding channel, he has the ideal physique for the general public but he's not a bodybuilder by a y means
😂😂😂😂
If Hercules was real, and was just an extremely genetically gifted tall and buff man, his physique would really not be unachievable today, especially considering less than ideal feeding conditions, no supplements and no steroids. For the average man, sure, but for someone who really takes training seriously, I think he’d somewhere between Evans and Hemsworth. Both look extremely good, but if you put them next to professional bodybuilders, they look like average beach goers.

Compared to a body builder on stage, he may look soft, but compared to other people, he doesn't look soft or fat at all. When he is pumped up he looks great. That pic from The Witcher may be cgi because as a Witcher they take magic potions that give short lived magical buffs... he may have taken something to increase strength... or this could be a scene he worked really hard for and shot it first, and then as the filming went on and he lost some size from that point on.
Yeah, derek is just saying that if he is on gear, hes soft. When most of these videos are done on super shredded, massive guys, henry is soft and fluffy comparatively
Being super shredded is not really sustainable for naturals. Your test levels will tank the closer you get to single digits bodyfat. They might spike initially because your body is literally on survival mode lol. But being natural and shredded to the bone isn't realistic for natties imo.
@@alainerookkitsunev5605 it also suprisingly makes you weaker because your body needs fat to better store nutrients and your body also needs the fat to produce semen/testosterone so your at your peak appearance but not peak strength plus after your body has hits that low fat percentage your body will force its self to lose muscle to replace the fat that you need so that meens that its literally biologically impossible to STAY truly shredded naturally
@@netanelohimwarren3629 true. Bodyfat has lots of benefits, wich is why even usain bolt is not even close to single digit bodyfat even in his prime. I think he's a worthy role model for just about everything. Seems like such a genuinely good person with convictions, especially considering his refusal to continue with the witcher since he didn't agree with the show straying from source material.
Henry Cavill in Man of Steel where he comes out of the water after the oil rig explosion is, in my opinion, the best superhero physique on the big screen.

in the context of bodybuilding he was definitely bulking, which is why this guy is using words like soft. I agree though that "soft" is probably the wrong adjective for anyone with a visible 6 pack
@fucking-llama-hats
The term "soft" in a bodybuilding context means something different to what you seem to think...
He didn’t mean soft as an insult lol. Soft means lack of muscle definition, especially in the arm area. For example, his biceps and shoulders are big, but they are not “popping out” because there’s some fat going around as well.

@radf impossible, different genetics.

@radf Just because it's completely achievable naturally doesn't mean that everyone can achieve it. Not because it's physically impossible to, but because not everyone is being paid to sculpt and maintain Cavill's physique. Dude does it probably because 1) it's a bit of a passion, but more importantly, 2) it's his JOB. Roles like the Witcher and Superman wouldn't hire him if he wasn't a good actor, for sure, but also if he didn't have the body for it.
If OP worked in the industry? Sure. He'd be provided with an excellent PT, put on a very strict diet, etc, etc. But he probably doesn't, so putting in that time for that body just... isn't realistic unless it's his primary hobby. And that's fine. Doesn't mean Cavill is any less natural.

He mentioned in a recent interview that they use a special protocol to make his muscles look better for filming. The protocol is something along the lines of progressive dehydration. So they gradually cut down water consumption for 3 days, reaching hardly any water just before shooting. Dry fasting is a good way to rapidly lose fat but also any water. I want to see this dude IRL lmao
Erick-Emil Szelitzky Its not easily attainable, but it definitely looks attainable if it was your job. Most people dont look like this because they dont have the time or the motivation to.
"Easily attainable" yet your old nerdy ass can't and never did
Henry’s body is inspiring to me as an endomorphic leaning mesomorph. He has a more impressive body in immortals but I think he looks better in man of steel and I feel like that is achievable and maintainable year round.
Thank you for highlighting that.
"Here he looks fat, he looks, like he could lose 10 to 15 pounds to hit his peak" Lmao - Derek addressing sexiest man alive former winner
He‘s just honest
I find the physique of Henry Cavill in the Witcher refreshing. It's not super charged huge bellies of muscle and also diced. It's as you said "bear mode" with Henry carrying a solid amount of muscle with enough definition to look jacked.
The various women in the series definitely didn't seem to mind him looking "soft" 😉 haha.
And none of the women looked like yen nor triss
It's what you would think a super buff guy would look like in middle age times. Nailed it
He’s not on steroids, just go to a real gym and you can see , huge difference on who is and who’s not , no comparison at all
its just click bait dude , Henry is six foot one , the avg weight at the height is 180 lbs and that is for someone who is not working out , he only goes 193 lbs , in immortals he was 175 lbs , thats only 18lbs over the last 8 years and he is not as lean as he was at 175lbs , but yeah i fell for it i expected to see some stupid theories lol but nope SPOILER he says a min in dont think he took anything lol well he got my click , wont get it again lol
Wrong I know few guys on gear that look worse than him and are smaller and less cut. I'm not implying that he is on them either.
@@josephdorino8250 Those few guys are wasting their gear then.
@@josephdorino8250 You gotta have some really shit genes to be on gear and STILL not gain muscle mass lmao
I think he has a great physique for naturals that want to look muscular; he has just low enough fat to have abs, maybe could be a bit lower for some obliques, but it’s enough to show the abs and some veins, but also make him look big round and full of muscle
i've watched an interview and he said that for the specific scenes in the witcher where he is shirtless he was bulking for a few weeks and cutting for the specific day of shooting where is he at the peek, he went into more detail about the two weeks cycle for being in that peek that i don't remmeber.

Maybe BBC genetics but probably juice
bingbangboozygetinthejacuzzi bruh that BBC steroid genetic shit is a myth lol how would I know? know two gym buddies that are black as hell. both take gear. they did not gain a significant amount of muscle since they first started taking it 1 year ago. i take the same amount as they do, and I am larger. I can show pics to back it up too. being black has nothing to do with it. you’re either gifted or you’re not
@@ultimachain8677 but chris jones says he got BBC genetics for muscle 🤣
It's not steroids it's just genetics and getting a pump before shooting. Anyone who actually lifts knows how much of a difference the right lighting and a good pump make for your muscles to show.
A thing a lot of people seem to forget is what actors go through for days before these topless scenes. They dehydrate and then work out like mad before the shoot so they are filmed with a full pump and as vascular etc as they can be.
Henry does NOT walk around looking like that every day. And I guarantee you he felt like crap while they were filming those scenes.
I follow him in insta, i saw his stories in insta when he did Witcher 1 season. He always post a video of fasted cardio so early in the morning like 3AM..
Is it bad to eat after doing fasted cardio
Air Doctor I stoped doing cardio way less because it was definitely increasing my cortisol
I saw him way earlier than Immortals. He was in the Count of Monte Cristo. Dantes son.
I rewatched the movie and noticed that!
He was so young in that movie!!
That scene made him look so Yoked, but in other shots taken after he doesn't look that big. I'd agree it was probably Natural. He is actually much smaller in the witcher than Superman.
Keep in mind in most shirtless scenes for these superhero movies they drain all the water body weight. So they basically look like the mma fighters the moment they step on the scale
He's on that photosynthesis cycle
That’s it imma take 200mg of Kryptonite a week
The thing is he is not that big or shredded and on the set you can see footage of him doing pressups in between takes when he was topless to get a pump
Cavill has my physique goals. I think he just had good genes that allow packing on size without the high maintenance shred.
He has stop hydratiing for 3 days before that shot of witcher
Theres no cycle, Henry's build is natural and is given to him through dieting and gym workouts
Tristan Kerr 🤣
And genetics
😂😂😂😂😂😂.
In that clip @0:50 I'm gonna say there's some CGI ab enhancement, as he runs and moves there's something off with the compositing on the abs. (Worked in Post Production for 10 + years)
*chiseled Spartan warrior with an eight pack and dorito chest*
Derek: “definitely not jacked by any means*
I mean Spartans wore armor in real life, not leather panties, so they probably weren't all that jacked :)
There's no way he's on steroids.
He is u fucking shit
@@Guts90_ I sense great jealously in you young M.A. *ominous music*
@@Guts90_ you are pathetic, cry more, his physique is 100% achievable, through handwork and discipline.

man this is interesting, he looks so sauced in the clothes stealing scene.
Henry Caville with a greek god physique:
MPMD: «Looks very soft, nothing crazy. Thats how i looked when I was 10 years old. Natural progression»
Henry even said in interviews he would dehydrate before a shirtless scene for 3 days so the skin sits tighter on the muscles it adds a little more definition to his build.
He has personal trainers chefs dietitian nutritionists free food paid for by DC studios also the promise of a multiple million dollar paycheck to get in shape. I think its achievable
Nope
it is not
and most of the hollywood trainers isn’t that good
@@larsjrgensen4431 It's just easier to take gear. Why are people in such denial about it? I work out hard as hell but with a full time job and 2 kids I'd like a little shortcut. When I turn 40 I'm gettin my doctor to put me on trt just because lol
You're right
His sword-fighting skills are waaay more impressive than his physique
In addition to lighting and pump, don’t forget body makeup. If the actor has a tan or smudged-up torso, they can add muscle highlights and low lights to add to the movie magic. In the Witcher, I’m not sure he needed to be ripped for the role as much as he needed to be a large and ominous presence; he’s mostly clothed in the scenes.
I can't agree with you on how he looks less jacked in JL compared to MoS. In fact, he looks more solid: He's not abducting his shoulders, but in those shots you can see clearly that his traps and triceps pop out easier than in that 'stealing clothes' scene
Henry Caville is definitely not a steroid user. His physique is easily achieved with knowledge.
it's achievable, it's not easy. Takes a ton of hard work and years of hitting the gym.
Can we just take time to notice how our boulder shouldered young mans channel is blowing up. Road 100k
super fluffy - LOL!!! im loving the videos bro great work
Geralt wasn't a super jacked or lean character. He was in aesthetically good shape. Cavill has done a great job with the character
"he's not running around pumped up trying to grab something" idk why but that was funny
I think in Justice League it’s because he wasn’t able to take his protein shakes because he was dead, hence leaner when they first resurrected him.
My kid is reaching the age he wants to work out. Your videos help him understand the difference and truth to what is possible naturally and what is not. Thank you from a loving parent.
Don't worry. At the gum he will find the ugly truth!
You can Keep believing multimillion persons interviews!
Awesome video man
"I can't achieve that kind of muscularity... he must be on steroids!" - pathetic wannabees all over the internets.
" I don't lift for shit" - jchinckley
Except most people CAN get that big with the right motivation, but people are just lazy and blame steroids instead of admitting that he goes to the gym more than them.
Do you honestly think that within 8 weeks, he gained 30lbs of muscle? Do you honestly think when millions of dollars on the line, they wouldn't resort to steroids? This is hollywood. 90% of people are coked up and having orgies. Let's not be naive.
@@TheSwordfish009 We're talking about Hollywood, right? Masters of visual deception. Henry doesn't have to do steroids to look like that, he just needs a base that they can work with in terms of cinematography.
Do I think that there aren't people that do steroids? No. There are plenty that do. But to assume any particular person did because he looks better than I do is narcissistic on my part.
@@TOTFAHRER No, I don't. I do it for money...
Regardless, you don't have to lift a lot to understand fitness, just as you don't have to make movies to see that the one you just saw was poorly made or an excellent example of great storytelling.
I believe your assessment is accurate. Henry has a naturally athletic physique.
The traps and neck are always a great reference regarding someone juicing or not. It honestly is annoying how the public non fit individuals think anyone who is muscular is juicing which is inaccurate
Remember that in movies, a heavy amount of color correction is done in editing to every shot. The contrast is turned up very high in the rainy shot which brings out all of the black/darks in the image, which highlight and accent micro striations most likely from a water fast done before the shoot. Not saying he wasnt on gear tho
