  • TAKE A "REAL LIFE" TOUR OF A FULL TIME RV COUPLES 2021 DRV FULLHOUSE JX450 FIFTH WHEEL. SEE THE 2016 VOLVO D13 HEAVY DUTY TRUCK they had customized to haul around their home. Learn about how they also carry a 2017 Smart Car in back of the sleeper cab on the RV truck. Truly a dream come true arrangement. Bryan and Cindy were gracious enough to give us a tour of their beautiful, custom home & tow vehicle. Come on along and enjoy the tour!
    Curious about the "RV Mobile Connect” Logo on Cindy & Bryans Heavy Duty Truck doors?
    RV Mobile Connect was born out of necessity by two full-time RVers that still needed to work daily from the road.
    When the opportunity to become nomadic workers and work out of their RV full-time presented itself, Cindy told Bryan she was “all in" as long as he could keep her connected to her work online “without exceptions“. Remember happy wife, happy life? Bryan made it happen!
    On the surface this looked to be pretty simple, but he soon learned that RV park WiFi was mediocre at best and almost always a huge IT security risk!
    After extensive testing, he came upon the solution. Bryan paired a COMMERCIAL GRADE CELLULAR ROUTER with an antenna that has the best signal grabbing capabilities he was able to find.
    Several months later, people began to ask Bryan how they stay connected all the time when they were having little or no success. As the frequency of inquires grew, Bryan decided to take the next step and form “RV Mobile Connect”.
    He put together a “business grade” solution that has proven to exceed everyone's expectations.
    He partnered with StepCG, a leader in cellular networking to advise, help setup and provide ongoing support for his customers.

    How to increase your RVocabulary......"funner" (gooder than fun) "puckery" (oh boy that's big), "friggin fan" (usually hard to work on) , "ojim drone" (let Sue pretend to fly), "macho man" (solar owner/operator), "hav'n my pretzel custom made" (I'm still not sure what or if I want to know what this means!) Fun video y'all. I am sure Marco has mentally "deconstructed" (unengineered) most of Cindy and Bryans rig.

    Lithium batteries would be very expensive overkill for your style of travel. It gives you power for boondocking without the noise of a generator. You guys are attached to the power post most times so it just makes no sense. When do you guys actually use the batteries? To start the generator? Maybe at a rest stop for lunch? Kinda like buying $50 batteries for a flashlight that sits in a drawer that you use once every 2 years when the power goes out or you looking up the chimney to see if Santa got stuck up there because you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas.

    To tell everyone its just as cheap to do this as getting a 350 for or something like that. You can get good used ones for around 50k that will run and pull longer than any 350 or 450 Ford. So if you get a new 100k rv and a 50k truck that's it. So it's not that much different put a big upgrade. Me I want a Peterbilt. I don't see the upside over a class A

    • @LowsJuan
      @LowsJuan Před 3 lety +2

      Storage, some say twice as much. Engine maintenance is a breeze where class a's diesel pushers are horrible and mechanics often charge twice as much just because access is so poor. Class a's have real issue when they need to be towed. Most wreckers refuse to tow them so it requires a experienced tower that may be many hours away. Plus when you break down your home is not attached to the engine so you can live in it with any inconvenience. Trucks also have an advantage in a front end collision (considered safer)as there is an engine and bumper between you and what you hit. In a class a their is not much. I still think that class a's have pluses that make them a good choice. If buying a class a is overwhelming buy a Over the road (OTR)class 8 truck is way beyond that. You buy a car there bay be two choices of engine and probably none for transmission. OTR engine choices are probably 3 manufacturers plus each manufacturer may 5 or 6 HP/ftlb choices. Same goes for transmissions and then you have to decide which axles you need. Let hope that any of the three you choose isn't a lemon. "yah them 2015 eaton's were a real bank account shredders". If you know what your doing making these choices can be a wet dream for some men but the average consumer it can be difficult.
