Theres absolutely nothing wrong with using felpro gaskets and seals. Its the person that installed it that sucks ass.
I never had a problem with felpro..he must suck at installing period.

Going back to stock again? Remember you had the coupe with sohc with a/c and pass smog and all that. Should of left that car alone and got you a new DD car. I like the ITBS setup.

Should of just returned this motor if it was threw a importer. All the money you saved on buying this B16A2, you still had to spend it on OEM Honda refreshing parts.

I work at Honda too and I always buy Honda parts only.... why go cheap on cheap stuff when you can buy Honda parts for a little bit more and it’s way better quality 👍🏻

Why to downgrade from B18 to B16?
I’m confused.
TL FIN because he doesn’t race his car. And mainly because he lives in Cali and he’s scared to get pull over with the b18
Is it illegal to swap engines in Cali or what? I’ve always thought engine swaps are easier to do in US. In my country, I can only swap 0.2 litres bigger engine, and power cannot increase more than 20 % and power to weight ratio has limits, it sucks. I want B18C 200 hp or K20A 220 hp, not possible, only EU/UKDM DC2 B18C6 190 hp is largest legal swap engine for my car. (EK4 VTi hatch with B16A2 from factory)
TL FIN - he trying to get the car BAR which means the engine/car is up to state spec. So you will need stock parts on the car and their other small detail. You can put a k20a2 into a ek hatch and get it BAR but then the car would be consider as a RSX so you would need to do what ever it take to get a RSX to pass emission.you would need to do to your car. Each state in America has its own law on cars and what not.
Idk if I agree with u on the gasket comment I used hundred of auto parts store gaskets and never had a problem maybe it was improper installation on ur part or ur buddies

What happened to k swap?
I don’t think that ecu will work if you get it bard, since you have a b16a2 you’ll need a P2T ecu. The referee will pull the carpet and inspect to make sure your ecu is correct for the engine you put it. That p30 ecu is for the b16a3 motor.

I'm trying to swap a 98 b18b1 into my 98 Honda civic ex.
I can't find no information about what I have to get install to bard my car.
I have a heavy duty California spec magnaflow cathalitic converter.
I know I have to plug the evap hose to the intake manifold top solenoid and modify the d Series harness.
But my question is.
"is possible to bard a 98 b18b1 into a 98 ej8?"

It's a seeker exhaust. Google them. There's no need for anyone to put you in contact with them. You'll just need deep pockets to get one landed in the states.

250 comp results??? is that really bone stock? for 10.4 comp ratio oem thats a crazy number
they proly did the test with oil in the cylinder lol there no way this motor make 250 psi look high kms af
@@bigfrankhu2l yh but even with oil the cylinder that only ads a 50-60 psi higher reading. that would still make this 10.4 motor read 190-200 dry which is dam near impossible lol
