    For one thing, we wanted to clarify that the Gladiator is rated for up to 17 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway, but naturally that's with the little PIZZA CUTTER TIRES that they come with stock, and not in below freezing temps like we did. We tried to make this test as accurate and normal as anyone would drive, the first test of the fuel economy for the Jeep Truck was mixed for 70 MPH, 55 MPH, and 45 MPH with some stop and go, but not a lot, also it was just over 100 miles total with wind speeds around 2 MPH. The truck has slush and ice all over it and of course thats not ideal.
    Another thing we wanted to notate was, most people don't buy the Jeep Gladiator for the Fuel Economy, they buy it as a lifestyle vehicle, however most of us use this as our main vehicle for daily driving to work, school, church, the grocery store, and whatever else. Very few of us actually get to use our truck for only OFF-ROAD & RECREATIONAL USES.
    Overall, its pretty impressive how well the Jeep did with the 35 inch mud terrain tires. We will also do this exact same test with the 33 inch Falken Wild Peak All Terrains, and then of course we will also do this test with the 37 inch KM3 Mud Terrains from BFGoodrich Tires, and then the 39 inch tires and 42 inch tires. Showing exactly what you're gonna lose with each increase in tire size.

    1) New Gladiator Gang Hats will be ready in a couple weeks, shooting for $29 with FREE SHIPPING. Also, stickers are only $10 for 3 FREE SHIPPING.
    2) Giveaways will get bigger and better as we grow, should we do the larger ones with the $5 spend gets an entry or stick to the totally free ones, or both?
    3) A couple people have mentioned the music being too loud and or annoying, didn’t think it was that loud, does anything else agree or disagree?
    4) We work very closely with Unofficial Use Only, he’s a DEALER for almost every single off-road brand on the planet, and a MASTER BUILDER. If you want to order something, let us know and we will hook you up. Also, when you deal wit him, you have access to his EXTREMELY VALUABLE knowledge of the off-roading & wrenching. He’s done nearly 600 Hemi swaps in Wranglers... He’s about to start an overland build for one of our fans, axle swap, 38’s, lift etc.
    4) Do us a favor, watch this video and let us know what you think, for some reason, CZcams doesn’t like it and won’t show it to our audience or let it rank, not sure why: Jeep Gladiator TEN THINGS I HATE: czcams.com/video/Rj5hQpbRBXg/video.html

      I just got my 2020 JTR last Saturday, and already started ordering mods. 2.5"/1.0" Skyjacker G250MSB lift, etc... Tires & wheels will be expensive...Don't have that kind of cash right now. What do you think about the stock 4.10's and 37's? Been trying to find some info, but most folks seem ready to mod with 4.88's or higher...I DD mine (when not driving my work truck everyday), so when I do drive on the highway, I don't want it to be searching for 8th gear all the time. Any info you can give about it? Your's seems very powerful, mine seems very sluggish even with the stock 33's... Do you have any power adders and upgrades done to your's?

    • @GladiatorGang
      @GladiatorGang  Před 4 lety +1

      37’s will be in any day now. Yeah, the iDrive Throttle Controller makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Working on getting it so you can order one from us. Also, a TAZER is a must, doesn’t boost performance but has so many mods you can do to your Jeep.

      @@GladiatorGang Cool! Does the iDrive and Tazer leave any ECM footprints? My JTR is a lease (right now) to get the price affordable per month...I don't want to void the warranty if I take it into the dealer for routine maintenance, and remove the items prior-to.
      Can't help but ask...Being a broke MF'er and all (after buying that damn thing), yall offering any discounts or willing to help get a channel setup with sponsors or discounts for builds for guys on YT?

      @GladiatorGang  Před 4 lety +1

      MudRunner2005 we don’t do any sponsorship, we have a lot of sponsors we work with though, and as far as building your Jeep, we have direct connections with a couple builders that can do the work for you.
      Doesn’t hurt to ask, don’t ever hesitate.
      We know what it’s like to be broke, last 400 miles our average MPG was 9.2 MPG 😆
      Apparently going 97MPH all the time isn’t the best on fuel.

    • @TroyPosey
      @TroyPosey Před 4 lety +1

      @@GladiatorGang That's cool. I subbed to your channel. I come from a high-HP and torque background, so the V6 in the Jeep was kind of a pisser for me. I have been building offroad trucks and diesels and hotrods for about 20 years. This is my first Jeep...As I'm typically an old Chevy square-body guy (78-87)...Still got a 78 K10 and an 86 K10. The only thing I'm really disappointed in with it, is that Jeep didn't offer a V8 option from the factory, for that kind of price-range of the JTR.
      How much will the iDrive things be? If it gives THAT much noticeable power, i'd be interested in giving one a try. I also have a buddy who just bought his JTR the week before me, and he'd probably be interested in one, as well. Will they leave a footprint in the ECM? Same with the Tazer? Or once you remove the Tazer, does everything automatically go back to normal?

    I have a 2004 TJ Rubicon and it gets 17mpg at 70 as well (5spd manual). The thing that has always bothered me about jeep, is how the fuel economy tends to be the same, if not worse, than a full sized Truck with a V8 engine. My king Ranch 4x4 with the 5.4L also scored 17/18 mpg at 70mph. I have owned 14 Jeeps (still have 3) and just can't see paying the same price for a Gladiator as for a well equipped full sized Truck and then have to pay for a lift kit and tires to make it look good and increase performance. I love that Jeep came out with the truck, it's just way overpriced for what you get.

      Stock 4.10’s still. No matter what I do, I average about 15MPG.
      But 65+ MPH makes a massive difference in performance.
      It’s not linear at all, there’s a huge drop off at certain increments, sometimes a 2-3MPG drop just from a 5MPH increase.
      75+ and the MPGS are terrible, absolutely awful.

      I went from driving less than 1 mile each way to my job at the Jeep Dealership to joining America’s Most Wanted 4x4...
      AMW4x4 is over 80 miles EACH WAY.
      Now, do I care about gas mileage, yes to an extent because it adds up fast, so depending on someone’s lifestyle the tire size they run might be determined by stuff like this.
      I’m spending $400-$500/month in gas, to me that a waste of money. I’d rather buy a beater and use that extra money for upgrades or other fun stuff...
      But yes, I didn’t buy my Gladiator for Miles Per Gallon, but rather SMILES PER GALLON.
      The SRT 6.4L Conversions we do at AMW4x4 actually increase fuel economy compared to the stock V6 because it’s so much easier for that 505 Horsepower Hemi to push this so aerodynamically challenged vehicle through the air!
