I am the oldest of 5, and most times us older siblings take the lumps for our younger siblings. I used to hold resent for how my dad showed up for my younger brothers and sisters, but I know myself as a man has needed time to grow and heal from my own mistakes, so I allow my dad to share some of that grace as well.
Truly a man of wisdom; “you have to tell me I’m wrong the right way”. What I’m learning is that we all what to feel safe with our love ones even when we are wrong. Yeah me too. The feeling worse is because you’re drinking your own position. It’s pride to want someone to suffer for doing you wrong. Think of yourself more highly than you should. I’m guilty of it. Holding grudges etc. the people usually don’t even care about you and how they hurt you etc.
