I recently picked up a 95 VS800 with only 1860 miles on it. It has been garaged the whole time and looks nearly perfect. The guy just never rode it. There was some rust in the tank, but not too bad.New battery, rectifier, flushed the carbs and runs great. Here is the kicker, I got it for $500! Score!

I just got one myself! How has it been to own, is there anything I should watch out for? How did you know to change the rectifier?
@@krendonreynolds4924 - They seem to be very reliable... that other guy must have had a battery charging problem to change the rectifier... my speedometer quit working, haven't check to see what the problem is yet... maybe a broken drive cable or stripped plastic gear...

Got a 99 VS800 a couple weeks ago. Had to get the clutch replaced but nothing else was wrong mechanically. Looks like the previous owner installed a new front fork, headlight and fender. Got it for $1500 and after the $600 for the mechanic, she rides beautifully! My only complaint is that it doesnt have forward controls.

Hey listen I have a 01 Suzuki Intruder 1400 that is not only a beautiful bike but running like new, right before it got summer time I put a brand new battery in it and a new set of tires plus changed the oil and did a tune up on it.
The only reason I'm selling it is because my health has gotten too bad to ride it. I've been thinking about just what is the lease that I can take for it and although I'm going to lose money at this price, I just want to be fair and not over price it so $2000 Dollars is what feels right . I spent $450 Dollars on it just to get it ready for the summer and when I found out that I couldn't ride anymore it broke my heart. It's my CZcams Avatar right there in the upper left hand corner. I will let two helmets go with it since I won't be riding anymore.

I just scored this exact same bike with 1 owner 9,000 miles for $1300 with luggage rack and highway bars and I love it she quick nibble and light the stock seat is very comfy and she can do 80 to 90miles on the beltway effortlessly. this thang pulls like a freight train I'm 5'10 and 250soild. not bad riding 2up either

That focus on your camera.. ohhh it killed the video. My eyes was bleeding so had to end my watching after 1 min.
Nice bike however the battery position and housing is not what I would call a brilliant piece of design engineering.
