Gotta say, with all of these crashes, I really appreciate the track design. Notice how the gravel slows almost all of them down to a stop before they hit the wall.

Wer mit seinem Privatfahrzeug ein Rennen veranstalten möchte, egal ob auf der Straße oder auf der Rennstrecke, hat eben kein Mitleid verdient. Wenn man meint mit über 100 kW oder noch mehr die Grenzen der Pysik ausloten zu müssen, muss man eben mit den Konsequenzen - und dazu gehört auch der Spott - leben. Wer ein wenig Hirn hat, braucht sich sowas nicht zu beweisen.

Usually this events don´t have the safety measures that top series have. If that guy on foot and without proper protection was the only answer to a car on fire in that zone, then you know something wasn´t thought well.

It's entertaining to watch an amateur experience a little bit of oversteer (which they don't know how to handle) then turn it into a massive tank-slapper that sends them off the road. The Driver's school I sent my kids to had an honest-to-God skidpad where the students spent a solid afternoon learning how to control a skid. Well worth the money.

I'm pretty sure he had his ESP on. The MK4 Golf was one of the first cars where an MK60 ABS is installed. That always cut's the throttle. Especially if you have a drive angle like that. Then it tries to slow down instead of trusting the driver. It's programmed for safety. In this case safety means a slow impact instead of a uncontrolled, lurching car that maybe hit's other cars. But you're right! - FWD cars need to be corrected with a good amount of gas, to keep the rear on the ground and have a better weight ratio.

The track layout is well thought out, lots of runaway space and gravel to slow cars down, probably saved a bunch of cars from a nasty crash.

It's a track day, there's a minimal staff around, and they're usually volunteers. I'm surprised someone with a fire extinguisher showed up so quickly.

@@Raikko3 yeah 😅 it's even harder in the narrow corners where all those people brake together juste after the long straight line (where a lot drive with over 300kmh).
But it's still a great experience...if you have the luck nobody crashing in your car or you crashing all by yourself 😅

These tourists aren't just fartin', they're crashin'! It's entertaining to watch an amateur experience a little bit of oversteer (which they don't know how to handle) then turn it into a massive tank-slapper that sends them off the road. The Driver's school I sent my kids to had an honest-to-God skidpad where the students spent a solid afternoon learning how to control a skid. Well worth the money.

Dazu ist ein standard Golf 4 ( Nichtmals R32 oder sonst ein Sondermodell ) nun wirklich leicht zu ersetzen, er findet davon im Netz tausende mit selber Farbe - Ausstattung.
@@hondacrx0 darum gehts mir auch garnicht, klar kann man das Auto ersetzen aber der entstandene Schaden ist trotzdem vorhanden und muss bezahlt werden oder ein neues Auto muss her, wegen einem Trackday an dem man eigentlich seinen Spaß haben wollte!

I'm pretty sure he had his ESP on. The MK4 Golf was one of the first cars where an MK60 ABS is installed. That always cut's the throttle. Especially if you have a drive angle like that. Then it tries to slow down instead of trusting the driver. It's programmed for safety. In this case safety means a slow impact instead of a uncontrolled, lurching car that maybe hit's other cars. But you're right! - FWD cars need to be corrected with a good amount of gas, to keep the rear on the ground and have a better weight ratio.
A good day was had by all at the first lesson of how to go around corners, unfortunately most failed.
