      Problem is we love hope, that's why there's always a smile on our faces (not a fake one to be frank) even though with everything that's been going on we love life.

      @TequillanSunrise Před 3 lety +15

      If you fire up high enough the bullets when falling down cant kill anyone but if you aim lower and shoot it keeps velocity and could kill. People who shoot guns alot SHOULD understand this concept.
      God bless the good people of the world, and god help the bad ones.

    • @MrsBilla-nu8qb
      @MrsBilla-nu8qb Před 3 lety +4

      I was coming into the comments to say the same thing. All of those bullets coming back down are as lethal as the ones being fired as they are raising their guns. Most of us can never imagine living under those conditions. I’m at a loss as to what to say.

    • @LeeAllen337
      @LeeAllen337 Před 3 lety +12

      @@TequillanSunrise YES. the fall back to earth is only at freefall speeds, not 1000 m/s still. Common sense. Must be shot up into the air though, obviously. At the top of the arc it reaches 0 velocity. The fall back down is only going to reach terminal velocity at free fall speed.
      "All dropped objects experience constant acceleration - in other words, they go faster and faster, their speed constantly increasing, at a rate of just under 10 metres per second. But air resistance also increases the further the object has fallen. When air resistance matches gravity, the object will achieve "terminal velocity" - maximum speed, after which it no longer accelerates. At a weight of 7.12g, a 2p coin would in theory reach terminal velocity at just over 19km an hour, hardly fast enough to kill you. (The actual speed it would reach depends on a variety of factors, from humidity to air pressure.)"

    • @xBris
      @xBris Před 3 lety +6

      Bullets are engineered to have very low drag coefficients and are also spin stabilised (they spin when they exit the gun barrel). The spin reduces the chance of tumbling, which would slow down the bullet. This spin is also maintained throughout any ballistic scenario, even when pointing the gun straight upwards. The resulting terminal velocity from falling is usually enough to pierce human skin, so can definitely be lethal (although obviously not always). It's still much slower than the direct muzzle velocity, but still... Dangerous stuff.

I know safety is an issue but gunfires is mostly seen as a common celebration we have for holidays and things just wish it was done in isolation instead of sensitive places. At sea or on a mountain in the sky somewhat distantly away from people and cities.. etc. is a perfect place to shoot.
