  • Allegra Stratton has resigned as a government adviser following an angry backlash over a video of No 10 staff joking about holding a Christmas party.
Boris Johnson says he’s ‘furious’ about the video and has launched an investigation into whether rules were broken.
But we’ve known for a week that a Christmas party was held in Downing Street last December.
    Ros Atkins explains.

I don't know how anyone could vote for the Tories after everything they've done. I voted for Brexit but they'll never get my vote after looting the country through corrupt covid contracts.
There's a list of companies that got millions each. I'm not even talking about the pub landlord that was so close with Hancock he had a photo of him price of place on his wall and all the other Tory donors and friends, but some of these "companies" seem to have existed in name only. For example one was a tea and coffee business given millions for "PPE" that had no assets, no history of ever trading, now they've completely disappeared. Even gone from Companies House and the Tories have all "lost" their emails and phones. This was one of many.
Also the fact this was even done through private emails show intent to hide what they were doing.
This is our money not theirs. They've used taxpayers money like their own personal bank account, and now they increase our taxes and national insurance to pay for it while prices are sky high.
Don't even get me started on their paid lobbying, I mean "2nd jobs" and claiming £1.2 Million in rent from taxpayers while renting out their own homes to someone else. I'm disgusted by them. The public should be far more outraged

A clarion call should now incessantly be ringing out, demanding Johnson resign with immediate effect.
Once Johnson’s resignation has been achieved, his deputy too should immediately tender his own resignation.
Following this, an enquiry should then establish who precisely had attended these elaborate functions, that they too may be dismissed in the full knowledge that prosecutions will follow.
Nothing of the sort will occur of course.

Yes but I wouldn’t focus too much on the Xmas party. This Allegra Stratton just took a bullet for Johnson who bullied her into resignation. The real damage is not being made viral which includes:
    1) A bill that will privatise the NHS
    2) A nationality bill that allows the tories to revoke British citizenship of British born nationals of ethnic minority backgrounds.
    3) A police bill that will make it illegal to protest or face 4 years prison.
    4) A bill that strips lawyers and judges of power so that no one can challenge the government on any piece of legislation.
    5) Cocaine drug use by MPs was found in parliament.
    6) Highest death rate of COVID in the WORLD.
    7) British business being irreversibly crushed by brexit.
    8. ) Tories trying to renegotiate trade with the EU for trade we already had with EU before Brexit, but get a lot less this time round AND with higher trade costing.
    9) Silencing the media and journalists.
