Currently i am working as an assistant manager in IDBI Bank. which is a private sector bank with Government share holding but my salary is same as Government Bank😅😅😅😅. work pressure is not that much. because my friends are working in ICICI bank and HDFC Bank. but in IDBI Bank our work pressure is way less than other private sector bank. 😊😊😊

All things are the same in idbi bank in comparison to psu Banks..

You have to do a basic operation job
Plus sales
Operation job ap jitna bhi acche se karlo
You don't get any recognition
Your performance is only judged by Your sales skills
And sales me bhi you have to call customers even go to their homes
So that they buy certain banking products
You have to sell banking products even third party products (like insurance and all) to customers even customer ko uska need na bhi ho tabh bhi
Ye cheez ethically kitna sehi he I don't know par bahut sare log ye cheez kar raha he to meet their target
Yes incentives and promotion is good
Only for those who have excellent sales skills
And if your sales Skills are not good
Then Pvt bank is not for you
But if you love sales and can perform well
Then Pvt bank gives you good Promotion, incentives and all
And One thing Don't go for any diploma program which worth lakhs of Rupees
They may gives you ranks like
Assistant manager and all
Par kam basic wala hi hota he
Plus salary is also not good
Pvt bank if you are from top MBA colleges they will hire you in good positions

Means he has to do sales
Build connections with customers
Means you have to be convinced customers to buy banking products have to do cross selling
Sometimes have to visit their homes
Targets will be there
You have to meet targets
Because your increaments and promotion will be dependent on that
And have to do all banking operations
If He loves to do hardcore sales and can handle pressure then pvt banking is a Good place to be

If he don't have any other option in his hand
He can join
Otherwise I personally don't think paying
Lakhs of Rupees for these posts is that much worth it
Biggest difference between a public sector bank job and a private sector bank job is JOB SECURITY..if you aren't able to achieve targets you can't be fired in a public sector bank as they provide 100% job security but the same is not the case with private sector banks

Things are changing in PSBs as well...third party product sales is what keeps you in good book of your superior..sooner or latter increments will be downgraded based upon sales and performance...in pvt at least you will be able to switch..but in PSB its like one way traffic

Govt bank mai bhi koi khaas aram nahi hai becauz mere neighbour bank mai hai aur 12 se 13 ghante baad ghar aate hai. But haan job security hai atleast.

In normal conditions,you will have to clear exam to get this post and also get pgdf degree then only you can get this job

Back office job in private bank is not sales oriented and desk job but salary is less and people get their hometown generally.

Job toh koisa bhi khas nhi hota lekin aapko jo job security mil rha hai, salary mil rha hai aur loan facilities mil rha hai wo pvt bank aapko kabhi nhi dega..work load zyada hai I know but uska bhi ek reason hai na..these are commercial banks so inko apna business badhana hai aur grow karna hai like pvt banks..agr banks me kaam nhi hoga toh saari banks loss me chalengi..you shouldn't compare PSU jobs with central govt jobs as PSUs are commercial organizations like corporates with the ownership of the govt of India
