As much as i love this potential matchup. That nasty ko has to concern Shields a little bit, even if she’ll never admit it. Shields went the distance only 4 year ago with Herman and Savannah flatlines her in 3. This matchup has great potential. Many Yanks think Clarissa wins and many Brits think that Marshall wins. This is why this fight sells itself.

There’s a lot to be said on both sides. I feel if Marshall can land she can win, but it’s not as easy as that. Marshal has confidence problems, and at the moment that’s what her team is working on, trying to build her confidence but what happens to her confidence when she is 3 or 4 rounds down, being peppered by Clarissa the better boxer, and not able to land the big shots . Then Maybe she lands one or two of them, and nothing happens, Clarissa eat them, we’re talking about world class fighters here. Marshall vs Muzeya. Marshall struggled with that girl, until Muzeya ran out of steam & Muzeya came up a weigh class to fight Marshall, and that is the closest fight she’s had emulating Clarissa, & Clarissa is, if she’s nothing else a 12 round fighter that’s a well documented fact- she’s not gonna be running out of steam.
Look I’m a Marshall fan and I’ve always pick Marshall to beat Clarissa but I’m also a realist and this is not going to be an easy fight for Marshall.
For me there’s just more ways for Clarissa to win then there is for Marshall. Marshall has to find, then she has the land, probably not once, not twice or even three times the perfect shots. On an elusive quick footed, talented, highly skilled, pressure fighter who is throwing multiple punches throughout the whole of the fight.
All I’m saying just don’t put your house on a Marshall victory!

An elite boxer can avoid a power puncher. We've seen this how many times??? I would think the best women fighters according to skill and experience is Taylor and Serrano. Taylor has the skill and high volume and Serrano has speed and power. Perfect style match up.
