I have an iPhone 5, and I was trying to figure out if I should go for the 6S or 7. But what I see is that the 7 has: - water-resistance - OIS camera - bigger battery - dual speakers (which is quite a big deal because I thought the 6S speaker sounded weaker than my 5) - quad-LED (lol, I've used my phone as a flashlight quite often) IMO, I think those features alone sway me to the 7.

Watching this video on my iPhone 7... if you have a 6s... I recommend staying with it.. i went from a 5s straight to a 7 but there's only minor changes between the 6s and the 7
6s less power and shorter battery life, if you like the headphone jack then stay with 6s, the iPhone 7 got an extra speaker at the top of screen tho, you should also consider water resistant of the iPhone 7, I found it very helpful a lot of time
Not worth the upgrade. Those changes are not substantial at all. The camera improvements were great though. Did they leave out some obvious improvements until the launch of the i8? Very good review.
Longer lasting battery. Louder stereo speakers. Additional 128GB of storage. More color options. Higher screen resolution. Definitely worth the upgrade. The iPhone 6S had a garbage battery. Apple was in the news about customers returning iPhone 6S for a battery replacement and the headphones have better sound quality with the 3.5 millimeter being swapped out for the lighting connector.
I have an iPhone 6 currently. I'm getting a lg G4 soon because I prefer android. The iPhone 7 seems like a great phone (not talking about the lack of a headphone jack) but I just prefer android phones to iOS.
The G's arent waterproof they have issues with unecesary swap out parts their speakers are weak and compared to other phones with the same sized battery LG tends to suck on power conusmption rates in real world situations
I think the fact that the 6s has a headphone jack and the 7 doesn't makes the 6s a more compelling option. The awesome part is that it's cheaper. Got my 32gb version for $350 at Verizon because it was on sale and I'm definitely loving it over my old 5s.
i ended up getting an iphone 7 32GB for $450 but honestly, a 32GB 6s would be better since its $100 cheaper and has alot of the features the 7 has (minus water resistance and u get the headphone jack...)
What counts for me a lot is the color and I'm in love with Space Grey and the aluminium feel of the 6S. If there was a iPhone 7 in SpaceGrey, I'd have gotten that instead.

Traded my iPhone 6 in on a 7 plus. The speed is noticeably different with IOS 10. The 7 plus is buttery smooth when you open and close apps, shift from various screens to other screens and the button is a 100% improvement over the 6/6S. The button on my old phone was becoming mushy. The only downside to the 7's are that the 64g option is gone. you go from 32g to 128g and the 128g one is pricey.
I have to say that there is a major difference between the 6 and the 7. I used my iPhone 6 for a year and then decided to wait on the 6s when it came out because I didn't see much of a difference but when I went to the iPhone 7 I saw a major improvement right away for speeds, screen resolution , speakerphone etc. I have the 128GB version and I can say I have no complaints other than the fact that you can't activate the phone if you have a touchscreen compatible pair of gloves on. You have to use your bare fingers which sucks but that's just something you have to deal with. I suppose it was designed that way for better security? I don't know. I work for US Postal Service and we have to use our gps's a lot and before I could just hit the home button and then unlock the phone but now I have to take my gloves off and use my bare fingers to activate the phone.
You didn't see a big difference in the iPhone 6s? 90% of the reasons I got the 7 came in the 6s and it was a huge change from my 6 that I regretted buying the second the 6s came out.

Just some feedback, there are a few comments, that people who are not listening can and will jump in on to disagree, but if they "listen" exactly to what you say they will find your statements to be true. I fell victim to this and watched your video a second time (sorry, I admit, I did not give it the attention it deserved the first go around) This speaks to how concise you are about your review, however, 80-90% of the audience out here does and will not listen and only hear; leaving you with disconnects. I think you will get even more traction by tweaking your commentary so that you don't leave doors open for debate. While this is a very, very, very subtle point it can have a big impact, while being equally as hard to implement. As they say, "The last 10% is always harder than the first 90!" Good luck and keep up the good work! PS This is the first vid that has ever made me want to give feedback. :-)
I have a old and extremely slow Galaxy s3 and I'm moving over to an iPhone 7 tomorrow based on this video and others like it. I love taking pictures so it seems like the overall better phone than the 6s.

To all the people that disagree about the storage options. The truth is that when Apple released the iPhone 6S the base storage was 16GB with options of 64GB and 128GB. When they released the iPhone 7, it's base was 32GB, they changed all iPhone 6s models base to 32GB. Also only iPhone 7 Plus has 3GB or RAM.
It is a great comparison-review. I saw also Iphone 7 vs 8 - both films are great and the best what I saw on YT. Good comments, comparisons main points, CONS and PROS. I'm user of Iphone 6s and considering to move to new one after 2yrs, first intention was Iphone7 but after this two reviews probably I will move on Iphone 8. And now I’ve noticed that the iPhone 7 is most definitely better at processing things and it doesn’t take forever to load things it just gets straight to where I want it to go without loading forever and that’s what I love about it.
The only disadvantage of the i phone 7 is the earphones issue , and the stripes at the back of the phone are missing but thats not important if you are putting an opaque case

TheOrangeType get the Samsung Galaxy s7. it has great battery life and can easily last one and half days of moderate use without charge and 6-7 hours without charge on heavy use
NiKe Plays yikes, the S7 battery is horrible for me, it got progressively worse really fast, i got it on launch day and it was regrettable over the 6S. Its also really buggy, i keep hoping updates will help but it doesnt, and i use my phone with LIGHT usage! Its truly sad

Note 7 has better camera, recording audio and a QHD Super Amoled display which is far superior, better features, it's 64 GB of storage with expandable memory, USB type C, headphone jack, Iris Scanner, touch Id, S Pen, etc.

If it wasn't for that, the iPhones wouldn't sell so well, because the Note 7 was the best Smartphone of the year without comparison by far. Apple was so lucky this year. Knowing that 6s has almost nearly the same spec as 7 and i get to keep my headphones and earphones. Ill buy the 6s next week but 128gb. It isnt a major upgrade between both as mentioned in this video. So yep. :)

I upgraded from the 6 to the 7 because of the 1080p front facing camera. I like to do video blogs and its easier when you can see yourself recording.

But I guess it does come down to personal preference, but I see a lot more differences and I personally have the Iphone 7, and I love it

I have the 5s and im upgrading to the 6s because its the right size and still very modern and cool phone. The 7 is just too expensive for me.
Knowing that 6s has almost nearly the same spec as 7 and i get to keep my headphones and earphones. Ill buy the 6s next week but 128gb. It isnt a major upgrade between both as mentioned in this video. So yep. :)
