The wooden link chains remind me of my dad's dad. He took a piece of solid wood and carved out a heart on each end and a chain linking the 2 hearts together out of one piece of wood. It looks like whoever made that piece you have carved it out of one piece of solid wood. Your videos are really interesting and enjoyable to watch. 10;00 Barbacide sanitizer, used to be a fixture in barber and beauty shops. They were used to submerge combs in sanitizer solution.
I worked for a management company that managed alot of storage facilities and whats sad is that some of the managers were to lazy or couldnt be bothered and will just dump in the trash stuff that gets brought back from units rather then contact the customer and let them know.

The straw thing is actually a hairdressing item where they put the combs brushes etc in barbacide to sterilize them
I believe those square or rectangle bowls, colored on the outside and white on the inside are pyrex refrigerator storage boxes or bowls...they are very collectible.
New subber here... I must say, you are the very first storage buyers (that I know of) that send personal items back to the owners. Big kudos to you! After all, it's likely the owners fell on hard times - maybe sickness or death in the family, etc.... could happen to any of us. Thanks for showing that kind of integrity, and good luck to you.
The recipe boxes, you might want to check carefully,. A friend of mine keeps emergency money in hers.

Hi! Those little glass saucers in that first box are depression glass. That African art is carved from just one piece of wood. Quite collectible. I like how some boxes contain random items and some have miscellaneous items 😄😄

The seat labeled Razor is for use on the scooter so you can use it with or without a seat. The wooden thing that looks like a LG chain, appears to be African made. It's most interesting feature is that it's all carved from one tree, or one LG branch. What about the furniture? Can you come back and give a final amount sold, estimated profit, etc? These are fun to watch!

The boots are Doc Martens, last forever and were my best selling shoe brand on eBay for years. People like them a little worn in, which can take a while 😂.

Wade! Another fun video. So I had to look this up because it piqued my curiosity. The wood chain is and African Tribal Art carving. It is a symbol of bonding and good luck for marriage and fertility. Depending on the type of wood used they can worth upwards of $300! That's a cool find!

The wooden chain with the heads is probably African. African folk art sells well. That was hand carved out of one piece of wood.
The lockers you buy seem to be 10x cleaner than the ones I always find / purchase. Even in a clean looking unit I find left over food, a dead mouse or two, and have at least 1/2 a trailer load of trash. Another great find there in any case. I'm just a little jealous :)

Depression glass
Check that turoquise braclet in the box with the watches, that may be the most valueable item you find.
You need to go to the library and get books on glass, Pyrex, fireking etc. Knowledge is the key for success in your business.. the wood chain was prob carved from one piece of wood. There are a lot of antique sites you could learn from.

I buy storage units also and do videos. This was a great unit compared to some of the units I’ve bought. I really liked all the Nikey shoes I always hope to find some my size when I buy lockers. You can sell those old spices and containers on ebay. They bring decent money too. You can make some money on the box oof Pyrex.
sample - I ran into this one time - I had sample jeans - it turned out a high end photographer that did magazines , etc would get free samples to take pictures. I cleaned out a unit once - charged the owner $100 - he took what he wanted - I took rest and cleaned out any garbage - sold over $800 worth of stuff and still have over 150 CDS.
I think the long rectangular glass dish is a pâté dish for steaming pâtés and the rectangular lid is part of it.

Those are depression plates. People would get them in laundry soap. They came in all colors. They are from the depression era.

I collect cased glass which is what your yellow martini glass is. Yellow is my favorite color. I would buy every piece of cased glass that you get. I don't believe that the yellow martini is very old.

Did the vintage red glasses survive? I cringed when you just jammed them in. Some time "Sample" means design sample and they are the prototype of a item. If the Nike company does that you may have a one of a kind design set . But not every company does that. Pyrex sells according to condition, the better color, no dings or cracks etc. sell for more. Pyrex sets and special editions sell for more. If it has gone thru a dishwasher it is typically scraped and the color has faded way too much to sell.

What do you mean by Plex? I know of no such glass brand. Are you misreading Pyrex? pronounced Py as in pie, and Rex.

37:29 copper bottom tin (silver colored) frying pans of any size or type are expensive and a cooks favourite for certain types of food cooking. The small sauce pan is a good one too. Did anyone mention elephants with up curled trunks are for good luck?

The two glass pieces with the rectangular glass piece is a vintage butter dish. I have one I use ALL the time. Red glasses are Vintage.
Hand mixer box is mostly Vintage. Do ALL the elephants as a lot. Kitchen with copper pans are mostly vintage.
You are wrong about the unit being NOT much. Be sure you check with an antique dealer on the dishes, etc. Of glass things. This person was a collector of nice stuff. That Barbacide jar is used to sanitize combs between customers. It's not for straws. A Barber or Hairdresser.
That stoneware jar would be for coffee, but yeah, you could use it for sugar.

Those wine glasses and the plates you showed look like depression glass. You have to be careful tho cuz there's reproductions out there too. You can usually take those things to an antique dealer to find out.
