    13:51 Wow, that accent is so heavy. I know both Japanese and English, and I recognized "nippon cargo 225" and _not a single word_ after that. Nevermind piloting. Understanding the radio chatter in different countries, _that’s_ the hard part.

      Heading 120, maintain 7,000, and our climb speed 260kt, nippon cargo 225.
      Nippon cargo 225, roger, speed at your discretiiioooooonnnnn.

    • @VinhNguyen92
      @VinhNguyen92 Před 3 lety

      fly enough and it becomes natural to your ears since you would have a pretty good guess of what they're saying based on the context and familiar vocabulary used. I have one high school friend who is currently an ATC officer and trust me he wont be able to fully read and understand an article on NYT but he does his job just fine.

    Hi Guillaume, thanks always for your time and effort going in providing such content.
    Trying to correlate past AF275 flights from RJAA / 35L, I end up with F-GSQB on Feb 5th. Quite interesting is KL862 @12:04 which appeared to have followed a track much further north (north of Severny Island). Being a 789 (as opposed to a wing-limited 77W) would it be able to pick up stronger tail-winds at these higher FL?
    Thanks again and take care!

    Dans tous ces échanges entre commandants de bord et copilote, on ne peut s'empêcher de penser :
    - qu'elle est la part d'info donnée à son acolyte ?
    - quelle est la part de justification - donnée à la boite noire en cas de "problème" - et la réponse - sans colifichets - adressée à l'autre. En somme, ce sont là des...
    Etonnants dialogues, plus ou moins scriptés, à mi-chemin entre responsabilité et sécurisation. St Ex n'est pas loin. Sic ;-)
