I have a tip for you Sara. When an avocado is ripe, you can put it whole in your freezer. When you’re ready to use it, take from the freezer and put in your refrigerator for a day or two to defrost. Fresh avocado! Works so well. Sometimes I buy more than I can use when they’re on sale.

We plant our vegie plants in Home Depot buckets. We drill holes in the bottom and put tomato cages in them. This year we planted three kinds of tomatoes, bell peppers, cukes and blue lake green beans.
You can grow just about anything in a 5 gallon bucket. I used to use them in my garden a lot too.

I also know what you mean about your lungs I have a rare lung disease which there is no cure. I also am not allowed in the heat my doctor said if I want to exercise I have to go walking in the mall. I can't be in the heat or the cold. I have almost died several times 2 years ago I was in the hospital on life support I was really sick. But take care of yourself and listen to what your doctors say.

I've stopped eating bread too. Basically if it is white I don't eat it. I break the rule about one a month I'll have some mashed potatoes, but no bread, no rice, no sugar.
i save the seeds from the peppers you buy in the grocery store and got a ton of plants from them ,my next is seeds from a myer lemons into a tree!i even planted popcorn before and it came up!lol

Great snack is cut brussel sprouts in half spray with olive oil and roast till outer leaves look crispy... sprinkle with garlic powder and sea salt... or roast kale leaves, crunchy good

Be careful with your knees and protect them. Don't be like me. I was on my feet long days on concrete floors and I have ruined my knees. I've had one total knee done and the other knee needs a total knee too. But now something has gone wrong with my first total knee and it has to be done again. I've had several surgeries in my day, but total knee surgery was the hardest surgery recovery I've ever had. I also do much better in the pool, as much so I put in an inground pool years ago for exercise, because land exercise is much to painful.

That's a good haul, I haven't made a quiche in a while, haven't found a good vegan substitute yet for the eggs, for some reason I just haven't liked what I tried. Have a Blessed Easter! You're lookin' sharp, love your nails! Edit: To avoid seeds in strawberries, I slice it thin, put it in a glass carafe that has a top filter with a just a few orange slices and mint--very refreshing drink in the summer. Maybe I'll mail you one.
