They sound like a mix between the Alpha Legion and the Night Lords.
Definitely the alpha legion imo. The loyalist elements have him repeating the truth over the vox that could help the imperium and help save the emperor if it were ever to be discovered. The chaos elements of alpha are satisfied that he's only being forced to do it as a humiliation ritual. Loyalist elements can keep their cover and push imperial forces in that direction to find it at a later date
Night lords wouldve made him suffer and then killed him
Bro thats some straight up great ways to mess with the enemies. Eldar wouldnt dare shoot at beings holding spirit stones in fear of feeding she who thirsts and damning there slain souls
Using Eldar soulstones is hella metal. I bet Slaanesh busted out his checkbook when he heard about these guys.
Weep no tears for those loyal angels of death declared heretics praise them for their continued service dispute their status. Very interesting lore it’s definitely unique

I’m Peter’s brother and have to say I’m really proud of him. He did a great job! I will say though, that having played many times against The Weeping Skulls with my Tyranids, I would quite happily see the whole damn chapter wiped from existence. That said, brilliant audio, well done all!

Love this chapter, basically what I'd imagine a loyalist night lords chapter would be like. I mean spooking eldar with soulstones from fallen eldar, genius tactics. Eldar can't shoot their fallen 😅. Best one was painting a nobs head blue and put it on a gretchin body. Hilarious!

Cool to see a successor chapter of the 18th bring back some of their terror tactics from before Corvus. Very macabre, good name for them to with a well written depressing story to boot. Overall, very Raven Guard, love it. Great story and great narration, as always.

The Blood of the Imperium is that of Heroes and Martyrs, and many will die to protect the Imperium from all manner threats and they will be remembered by all those truly loyal to the God-Emperor.
Some intriguing lore and very well presented too...I hope Peter decides to write a story from the perspective of one of the Weeping Skulls, as that would give us insight into the mindset of the Chapter. Love the music and artwork also - another worthy endeavor. 👍

Actually, that entire LOTR vid is nothing but Middle-Earth poetry I cobbled together many years ago. As for poetry you might be interested in narrating, 'Lament for Boromir' or the 'Song of the Mounds of Mundburg' would be good pieces to check out.

The sad thing is. They're right about how to rebirth the emperor. But wrong about how to keep the astronomocon on. So. It will go out for 10,000-ish years until the emperor's rebirth.
Most of the inquisition believes that by then there won't be much of humanity left to save. As it would be Old Night all over again.

Crazy lengths parts of the puritan and radical inquisition will go to silence each other when the common soldiery and people belive they are on the same side rather 2 sides of the same but very different coin. I would be paranoid as fuck in there position....

I hate how some things go in the 40k verse. The way shit is done sometimes is ridiculous... with the logic of of one part of your group was bad so now all of you are bad regardless if you participated or not is just dumb. By that logic all of humanity should perish...lmao all inquisitors and primarchs left alive should be put to death at least by that same logic.
Yeah the Imperium paint blame with very broad brushes.
Although this was mainly a cover up operation to stop The Risorgimento's plans being exposed.
In their defence, only the Space Wolf and Blood Angel Marines involved were declared traitors because that would have created a bigger shit storm than they already had. Unfortunately for The Weeping Skulls the majority of their Chapter were involved and has learnt too much.
But in the 40k universe there is no logic.. there is only war!
