Welcome! Today's video is a snapshot of two days in my life. I share a Hollister haul and Athleta haul (one of which was successful, and the other was a huge fail 😅), some new makeup I got from Sephora, cafe visits, and my thoughts on The Tortured Poets Department (lol). I was feeling a little down when I was filming this video and almost didn't want to share it for that reason, but I realized that everyone has days where they feel like that and I shouldn't pretend it doesn't happen to me! Filming this video was a fun way to get out of those feelings, so I hope you enjoy spending the days with me. 💌

Ahhhh Paris Baguette is sooo good! I really want to go back and try their plain cronuts. The filled ones were good but I don't like things too sweet so I think I would like the regular cronuts and I need to try them immediately lol. They're opening another one in Cary! I drove past it in the last couple months and according to Google, it's opening June 5! I think it might be a standalone which is ~thrilling~ haha. Thank you for watching!

@@ChristieintheCity If you get a chance to try one of their mochi donuts, you’d be in heaven!!! In general, their stuff isn’t too sweet in my experience. I’m obsessed with their fruity croissant options 🤤 I didn’t know they were opening one in Cary!!

Okay I wanted to address that in the video and I think I might have edited it out because I was not speaking to it eloquently lol. I am also the same age as Taylor (1989 babayyy 😂) so I think that the problem for me with TTPD is the general themes of the songs. Like I'm 35 years old and in my current state of life, I cannot relate to what these songs are about lol. I'm not sure how much you read about the ~gossip~ haha, but I also can't get past that so many of these songs are allegedly about Matty Healy, like girl...what is happening?! It's low key embarrassing?! It just seems a little immature for someone who is in her mid-30's. Not wanting to minimize her emotions of course, but...it's a little weird. Swifties please don't come for me. 😭😂
I love Paris Baguette so much! I need to check out the new location in Cary. I don't think I've tried their egg tarts! I will try them when I go. :)
