Okay I wanted to address that in the video and I think I might have edited it out because I was not speaking to it eloquently lol. I am also the same age as Taylor (1989 babayyy 😂) so I think that the problem for me with TTPD is the general themes of the songs. Like I'm 35 years old and in my current state of life, I cannot relate to what these songs are about lol. I'm not sure how much you read about the ~gossip~ haha, but I also can't get past that so many of these songs are allegedly about Matty Healy, like girl...what is happening?! It's low key embarrassing?! It just seems a little immature for someone who is in her mid-30's. Not wanting to minimize her emotions of course, but...it's a little weird. Swifties please don't come for me. 😭😂 I love Paris Baguette so much! I need to check out the new location in Cary. I don't think I've tried their egg tarts! I will try them when I go. :)

I am feeling anxious about the flight for safety reasons- can the planes please just stop malfunctioning 😭- and also just not knowing how it will go with Kai. He is super active but I hope that he will sleep on the flight there because it will be nap time. Ugh I'm trying so hard to just let go of any plans and expectations for the flight but I'm nervous haha. He will be almost 1 year when we're flying there, so if you have any tips, please let me know! I've seen how adaptive he is when we have taken little road trips but somehow my knowledge of that flies out the window as I prepare for the next trip. 😂

@@ChristieintheCity ha!! Yes I would definitely say try to hold off on his nap so he can fall asleep there. If he still uses a pacifier that might help you get his ears to pop. Depending on if you do screen time or not, make sure you have things downloaded on your phone whatever you use for that. I would def suggest snacks!! All the snacks! lol wet wipes! Those are my best friends even though my kids are 3/8 I always pack those! Baby sunscreen! There’s lots of UV exposure on planes. I’m trying to think of anything else…..I think for now that about covers the baby entertainment bases lol best of luck!! You’re gonna do great!! I’ll look forward to the next upload!

I am picky about it too! Ni Asian Kitchen is definitely my favorite of the Chinese restaurants we've tried. When we lived in Chicago, we had an incredible Chinese restaurant a block away from our apartment and I miss it haha.

I think I'm about to be a packing cube convert! I just received some compression packing cubes from Quince and I'm about to try them out over the 4th of July holiday. Now that we have a baby, I'm realizing how nice packing cubes are for organization! I like the idea of being able to separate my things (one for clothing, one for underwear/socks/bras, one for swimwear/beachwear, etc) and also have one for my baby's clothes and pajamas. I will report back if I love them! :)

@jayjoseph3563 County Line on the Hill off 2222. Get the Big Daddy Beef Rib platter. The ribs are ginormous. I can usually eat 1.5 of them with some of the sides. Lots leftover for later.

Thank you for watching! I was looking at their silk pieces and they look so nice. That might be the next thing I try from Quince, their silk items! The silk slip dresses look so elegant. The linen button down shirt was sadly a miss for me but I loved the linen pants and shorts so much. I'm wearing the linen shorts right now. 😂 I'm sad their linen dresses didn't work out for me, but I do see a "100% Organic Cotton Gauzed Tiered Maxi Dress" that looks so cute and breezy for summer. If I place another order, I'll try that and some silk pieces!

Hahaha, as soon as I looked in the mirror, I said, "oh no". 😂 I actually went back and looked at the dress on their website while I was setting up the links for this video, and the dress looks a lot shorter on the models and in some of the customer reviews. According to their site, the model wearing the "sand" color is 5'5" and the dress hits right above her knee. The other model is 5'9" and it hits well above the knee. I'm 5'7", so I'm not sure why it was so long on me? So strange!

Ahhhh Paris Baguette is sooo good! I really want to go back and try their plain cronuts. Some of my favorites are: Crafted the Art of the Taco Bourbon Bowl SouthEnd Brewing Co (surprisingly good food for a brewery) M'Coul's Public House Cheesecakes by Alex Porterhouse on Market I'm a coffee girly but for some reason I haven't tried all the coffee shops downtown yet. There's several! I have tried and liked Tate Street Coffee House, Green Joe's Coffee Co, and The Green Bean. Also, I saw that a Wayfair Outlet recently opened here, although I haven't been yet! There's a Tanger Outlets Mall in Mebane which is about halfway between Raleigh and Greensboro.

Ahhh thank you for reminding me about that stretch, I actually did it today thanks to you and it truly makes such a difference. @@ChristieintheCity I’m glad I was able to remind you of that stretch! A few weeks before my son turned one I had a horribleeee back injury. I had no idea pregnancy and childbirth would have such an impact on y back but it sure does!! I am going on 8 years of being a mom and the pain is still there! Only much more manageable with stretching and exercise so hang in there! They are so worth it though!! I am doing well!! Hope to catch you when you’re ever in Indy!! I have some other Raleigh videos on my channel that are more recent but I love giving recommendations haha, so here are a few of my favorite places in 2024! Coffee/Quick Breakfast Heirloom- downtown Raleigh, they have great coffee and the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. It's their breakfast baguette, highly recommend! Jubala- a few locations around Raleigh, excellent coffee and their biscuit breakfast sandwiches are bomb Food Gym Tacos for amazing tacos; their gringas is incredible Chido Taco- more of a California-style of Mexican food but they have a full bar and good drinks Transfer Co. Food Hall- downtown Raleigh food hall, lots of options for food and drink, outdoor seating Taverna Agora- Greek restaurant downtown; I haven't tried it yet but it's on my list! K-Town Market- one of my favorite food spots in Raleigh; a more hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. Incredible food Dampf Good BBQ- this is technically in Cary, but is absolutely worth the short drive if you'll have a car when you're here! Best bbq in the area hands down. It's outdoor seating only, so I'd recommend going on a nice day, and they're only open Thursday thru Saturday and tend to sell out early. Just a heads up on that! Wilson's Eatery- attached to a brewery, they have tons of outdoor seating, lots of beer options, and their food is SO good. Their burgers are some of the best in Raleigh but honestly everything we've tried there is really good. Flying Saucer- downtown, tons of beer options and great bar food; outdoor patio Wye Hill- brewery with pub food, they also do brunch; outdoor patio Drinks Watts & Ward- cool vibe, kind of speakeasy vibes. Bar with garden out back Glenwood South- This entire part of the street has different bars, breweries, and cocktail lounges. You can walk the few blocks and check out a bunch of different spots for drinks. Botanical Lounge is one of my favorites! There is also a lot of restaurants on this street too. The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge- this is a remodeled motel that has cool retro vibes. (Think Mad Men!) They have a bar/lounge and a really nice outdoor lounge area. Excellent cocktails!
