I used a procedure kind of like that to refrigerate/germinate rose seeds back when I was learning some things about growing them from seeds, which might I add is sometimes a two year long and tedious path just to get one to sprout, and why most people just graft or buy and plant rose bushes, which is a lot easier. Good information. Thank You...

Interesting! I guess that was like a cold stratification type thing that some types of seeds require in order to germinate?

Yes! I have some seeds and I’m not very confident in the quality of my seeds from last year and the year before.

Definitely good to test them out and see how viable they are for sure! There's nothing worse than planting a bunch of seeds and only have a few germinate!

This is so cool. I’m going to do some testing tonight with my kids. Good to know we can plant the ones that sprout. What do you mainly use parsnip for? My son started growing a Silk tree from a single seed and he did something similar to what you’ve shown us. The tree is 5 years old now and it’s TINY, but it will live for like 500 years and will be very large once it’s mature. I’m so inspired; thanks!

@lisabradyusa that's awesome! We love parsnip steamed and pureed mainly! It's a great root crop for us because our growing season is a little shorter so we love doing root crops that will store well into winter for us. And parsnip can actually stay in the ground all winter and we can have fresh parsnip first thing in spring lol!

On a different note.. There is some kind of interference in the sound track of the last four videos, kind of like a muffled voice track echoing your main track but slightly delayed by less than a half second. I can hear it in "Seed Viability Testing", "The ultimate Guide", "Dry Skin Woes", And "The Perfect SourDough" episode seems to be when it started. Did not find it in the audio of the ones that came before that.
Don't know if you will be able to hear it in your original audio track, but you should be able to hear it in the CZcams videos that you have posted which is what I am listening to. If it is not a concern then I apologize, but I know how most people like to present their best and is why I bring it up. If I am the only one that can hear this then I count myself blessed as I am a retired Submarine Sonarman STSC (SS) and sometimes I "hear things" normal humans do not. Thank You...

Hmmm I don't hear it but not to say it isn't there lol! I am no audio expert and I did get a new mic setup not that long ago, though used it on a couple of videos before then too I think. Given your career history I would definitely say you are much more astute to sound than the average person! Thanks though for pointing it out! I may try tweaking my mic settings to see if that makes a difference😊
