    This is a demonstration video on how to wire wrap a beachglass pendant. This is the second video in the Beachglass Pendant Series which features a more complex wrap. If you would like to see how to wire wrap a beachglass pendant the easier way without wire weaving, Check out my first video on wire wrapping beachglass on my channel.
    I use Dead Soft Sterling Silver for all my wire wrapped jewelry. I recommend starting with non-coated Copper wire if you are a beginner. Stay away from plated and coated metals and stick to solid metals. I find the final result to be of better quality, and with proper craftsmanship, it should last a lifetime.

    Great ideas and I like your tutorial. Except for one thing I'm not an expert Weaver. And I have a hard time getting started. I would have to go to a different tutorial to start the weave on this project. For All Pro wirers, they can fast forward to anything they don't want to watch. For the beginners like me, we get lost along the way. Don't get me wrong I love what you do I just need more explaining for myself. Please and thank you💕

    Do you have a video on the weave?

  • @myyutube125
    @myyutube125 Před 4 lety +5

    So, not being a weaver yet, my attempts were laughable 🤪 a little more attention to the detail of starting the weave would have helped. All of a sudden you already had a few cm on there. Oh well

    Love the tutorial and your designs but the music did my head in 😱- it set a pace which was too fast for trying to learn the technique.

  • @kimberlywithers2525
    @kimberlywithers2525 Před 3 lety +3

    I tried this and it was laughable 😅. How are the 4 straight pieces so firm and straight with the guage that they are?
    Mine were curved, soft and impossible to work with. I really want to make this! Beautiful ❤️

      Yes, I have the same problem. My wires aren't straight like this.

      I had the same problem. Her spool showed she was using 22 gauge sterling silver but I can’t find anything that stiff in sterling silver.

    I am a Newby and trying to make a pendent for a bolo tie for my dad that means I don't want the loop at the top since it will not be hanging from a chain, but secured topics that slides up and down. Would you happen to have any specific tutorial videos that would help me create my masterpiece? I learn by visual examples. It is for my dad. If you need pics to show what I have, please let me know. Thank you!

  • @wendell4166

    Question- why do u start weaving in the middle? Also can you explain the weave pattern? 😁🙏🏻💕

    • @IndiPendantsJewelry
      @IndiPendantsJewelry  Před 2 lety +3

      When I start in the middle it helps me to make sure as I progress it stays even. If one side ends up breaking, I can still continue using the other side. Perhaps I should make a video to explain weaving patterns in more detail!

  • @staceythomas7479
    @staceythomas7479 Před rokem

    I see you’re using sterling silver 22 gauge. I tried using half hard round wire and it is too soft. What are you using and where do you purchase it from?
