    Sea glass is next level! ...so long as it's really made by the sea and not a tumbler. I found some excellent sea glass in Santa Cruz! Nice wrap design. Elegant. Efficient. Rock on! ;)

    Thanks a lot. Very inventive, simple but beautiful. I’m going to make a similar one.

    I love that! I love the ideas of the swirls acting a bit like a prong setting to hold it in place. I collect a lot of sea glass where I live (coastal north west England) and thanks for the inspiration, once again. ❤️

    Thank you Oxana. As a young person, I lived in a small ocean town where beautiful tumbled glass was beyond belief. I collected some. This type of wrapping is perfect for many of the pieces. Thank you 🙏🏼

    I love this! very easy and straightforward! The only thing is the wire wrap your using isn't real silver just silver plated so that might affect the cost for people who are trying to make and sell there product. Excited to watch more videos!

      This wire is colored to be a golden color. I like to use economical wire in my videos, since I wouldn't want people following the tutorial for the first time to use expensive wire in case it doesn't work out. But I also make jewlery to sell and I use solid sterling silver wire for some of my jewlery. This tutorial can be followed along if you are using sterling silver dead soft 20 gauge wire.

    Could you do a tutorial on wire wrapping sea shells and clam shells? I have a lot of them that I want to wire wrap but I don’t know how to make them look as pretty as you do with your gemstones

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 3 lety

      This tutorial should work for a shell because a shell would be flat and curved just like my piece of sea glass is. The only thing about shells is they tend to be quite fragile so you'd have to be gentle with wrapping them.

  • @stvhp100
    @stvhp100 Před 3 lety

    By it's curve, your bit of sea glass is from a green beer bottle and quite new by the look of it because the edges haven't smoothed down.
    Pretty idea though and I like that you use one piece of wire for the whole project. Do you use square wire or half round at all? Just thinking about the grip...

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 3 lety

      I use square and half round for a lot of my other designs, but this one worked well with just round wire, but it would also work with square.
