  • Grace Christian University became the first team to win on Taylor University’s “Silent Night” 73-71 on Dec. 7, 2018. Trojans senior Jake Heggeland scores the 10th point on a free throw. It was the 22nd annual Silent Night.

    Annnnnnnd the NCAA condones this? Hmmm. I noticed at the bottom the refs were like nope, let’s get the F outta the way. Let’s head to scoring table. Wow. This , to be summed up is ...DUMB, but oh well

      It's students having some fun, a good tradition, and brings some publicity to the university. I'm guessing Taylor gets a technical foul for delay of game, but not more than that. The referees and teams all know it's coming, so there's little risk of injury or anything like that.
