Edwardsville’s Drake Westcott hits two home runs in 2019 Class 4A Sectional Championship
Drake Westcott, a junior Louisville recruit, hit a grand slam in the second inning against Normal West. His two-run home run in the sixth inning made it 12-8. He accounted for eight runs on the day, going 2-for-3 with the home runs, 7 RBIs and scored an additional run after being intentionally walked. (Video by Aaron Ferguson)

It's students having some fun, a good tradition, and brings some publicity to the university. I'm guessing Taylor gets a technical foul for delay of game, but not more than that. The referees and teams all know it's coming, so there's little risk of injury or anything like that.

I would say UNC but we aren't getting 5 Stars no more. No problem I like how Williams develops his players and seems to always find a way to contend.
I think its because 5 stars are brainwashed that they can only succeed at Kentucky and duke that's one reason. Another reason is the academic scandal that's taking forever and a day to wrap up. Another reason was in 2009 after UNC won the title, John Wall wanted to come to UNC, but Williams never got back in touch with him and also Williams is the kind of coach where he wants squeaky clean players and Wall had some altercation with the law so that probably turned him off, but it came back to haunt us because that decision gave Kentucky its 1st #1 recruiting class and set the stage for them to dominate recruiting. It Used to be UNC, duke and Kansas, dominating , but we were replaced by Kentucky . Williams gambled on Larry Drew II which turned out to be a disaster and then we got beat by the very team in the regular season led by you guessed it the very guard who Williams shunned. They went on to the Elite Eight that year while we went to the NIT

Leo Rodriguez I know. I always wondered why Williams never went after JUCO transfers? Some of those guys can actually play, they were either overlooked in high school, but weren't done developing their game, they went to JUCO for 2 years and then they developed and now they're real good Bill Self, Calipari, Coach K, Pitino have all went after transfers in addition to the top high school talent. We need a real power forward for next year and we don't have one. If the foreign or high school 5 stars ain't coming look elsewhere like a JUCO
Billy Donovan did that for years at a high level. I'd take a group of upper classmen over a bunch of diaper dandies most of the time.
