Oh my gosh! I have never read the shape books but LOVE Jon Klassen! I'm a lover of picture books myself. Some of the books I've read at the start of the school year that my kiddos enjoy are: Mae's First Day of School, Our Class is a Family, The Pigeon books, Stick and Stone... but there are so many more. Thank you for sharing some of your favorites. I'm definitely ordering the shape books this summer.

Hi Diane, I just got the Triangle book this summer. I've never seen them before, so I was excite to find it. I already put the other two on my to buy list on Amazon. My students LOVE, LOVE, LOVE "No! David!" I read it straight and then read it as, "No! Miss Mary!" and they laugh so hard. It is a must have for my library.
