This wig has LOTS of pumped-up volume on it's top, but what about the rest of the wig? We are gonna find out in this transformation. THANK YOU! THIS is the wig tutorial I have been looking for! I got a few wigs that are similar quality in a sale and I knew they could be transformed into drag wigs. A lot of other tutorials either have no clue what to actually do with these wigs and put a hat on them or use wigs that start out nicer quality for their tutorial.

Thank you so much for doing a little hairline tutorial! I’ve never seen this technique before. I’ve only seen where you glue hair to the front of a hard front wig, so it’s super helpful

I don’t think you need more of the RuPaul wig tutorials because drags can’t afford wigs that cost more than lace fronts but end up needing more care, work and expertise to get to a less decent level. But the rooted wig thing is so fun to watch. I think you could cut the hairs more at an angle to make the wig line zig zag deeper and sharper. It looks so good - I’ve seen that on many German drag queens in the past
