I think Chilly waters is the most likely board to come here that's not already been confirmed, because: 1. It has a completely different theme that isn't even relevant to any of the others. 2. It's a N64 board 3. Its a Mario Party 3 board and I think that one is currently getting the short end of the stick at the moment! 4. Its a simple, but fun-to-play-on board and it shouldn't be too hard for them to remake
The official website and Eshop says “with seven boards in all” and the track record of no dlc in other games makes me think the seven shown are all we get
The Booster Course pass advertised just 48 tracks but started dropping characters eventually with zero mention prior that we’d be getting any. I know it’s smart to go by what they’ve said, but they do have a record of going against what they’ve said and adding additional content.

I reckon that crack in the wall on the board hub has to be an 8th unlockable board, and I feel like Creepy Caverns goes there. I could be completely wrong, but that’s what my gut says. Great video nonetheless!

MP3 was actually represented the best in Superstars in terms of minigames with 24 out of 100 but they have something against the boards for some reason
In terms of aesthetic and assuming Mario Party 3 is the chosen game they would pull from, I’d say Chilly Waters is the most likely due to uniqueness. If there is one thing I noticed throughout Mario Party’s history, they try very hard to make no board look the same as another in the same game. So CW would be super unique. Plus I just love it so much. Please, Nintendo? Maybe just maybe.. that building they’re doing on top of Bowser’s Keep is going to turn into a snowy mountain? 🤞🏻
BTW Mario party jamboree games size (according to nintendo eshop) is 6.5 GB which is more than twice the size of super mario party and superstars which both had less than 3 GB. This should laready tell us the game will be a lot bigger with significantly more content than those previous games! Superstars fixed super mario party issues but the content and character roster was lacking. Jamboree wil bring good stuff from superstars but on top of that will have a lot more content and a lot more characters! This will most likely be even better than superatars!
If they decide to do some Mario Party 3 representation, then I think that Spiny Desert, Deep Blooper Sea and Creepy Cavern should be the ones to make the cut because those three boards in particular have little problems that hold them back from achieving excellence.
With the free plots of land leaning towards being something added or unlocked. So far, in the initial trailer as the camera pans, it looks like we see some sort of MiniGame island, a large Bowser statue maybe leaning towards the large Bowser mini game we see, something like a Options House, next to a shop/music house, then the free plots. I'd assume if the free plots of land are meant to be something, while they may not look thematically correct at the moment, it's possible that they could become a snowy mountain top, volcano, etc. Just because we don't see it now doesn't mean it can't appear for some reason later. Or open itself up for DLC. I'm happy with the 7 boards, absolutely thrilled we have rainbow castle and western land. Yet, I cannot help but say these two returning boards make me long for more.

This would by my dream mario party game AKA "mario party ultimate": - 10 boards with 5 new boards and 5 classic boards - 200 minigames with 100 new minigames and 100 classic minigames - character roster basically like in Jambore but also missing characters from super(Diddy Kong,Pom Pom, Dry Bones, Hammer Bro), Pauline, Blooper, Dixie kong and Funky Kong - modes in addition to classic board play would include singleplayer mode(1 player), coop mode(4 players),boss battles(both for 1 player and coop), 2v2 team mode on board play, 8 player mode (would function similiar like it did in mario party 7 where on board play its 4 teams of 2 and 2 players in the same team move together so board pacing would essentially be the same as with 4 players). All modes would be playable for both online and offline - customization options for board play. Also being able to choose which specific minigames appear or dont appear during board play. For example in mario party superstars(and in older mario party games as well) you could choose which types of minigames would appear during board play. In superstars you could pick where only skill based minigames would appear(so no luck based minigames), or only minigames from N64 era or only from Gamecube era etc. In addition to this I would add "custom" option of types of minigames and on this you can set in the settings which specific minigames appear during board play. So minigames that you dont like or care about wont appear during board play while the ones you enjoy are more likely to appear. It would have to be minimum of 10 free for all minigames and minimum of 5 for all other types of minigames(2v2, 3v1 etc).
This would be epic! The Board Customization would be phenomenal. I've always wished we could pick HARD mode or EASY mode.. Something that makes mini-games the only way to get coins besides Blue Spaces and the OCCASIONAL lucky space. Would be epic.
@@Swiftjar Yeah I wanted board customization options for a long time. Hence this would be "mario party ultimate" for me because in smash ultimate you also have many options of how to set the rules. I would love the option of setting how many coins you gain on blue spaces or lose on red spaces, the amount of coins you get for winning minigames and setting price for stars and items etc! Heck imagine "board maker" mode where you could create custom boards.There would be preset themes that you can pick, some preset layouts but from there you could set whatever spaces you want to whatever place on the board. Some player creations would probably be ridicilous but that would make it even more fun with all the chaos that you could create! I dont think anything like this will ever happen but one could only dream.

I'm also perfectly fine with 7 boards in total, but I think there's a good chance there's at least one unlockable board considering what you mentioned and also that Super had one although I'd love to see at least two, a new and an old one with the latter obviously being from Mario Party 3. 5:30 Unless that board somehow goes there instead of inside, I could see Chilly Waters fit on top of the mountain with the cavern presumably leading to Bowser's board considering it's the highest point of the map so the most likely one to have snow on it and it has a cool color even as is. That said, your idea of simply adding it on an iceberg could absolutely work, too!
Imagine this. You beat Bowser's Keep, which is presumably the final board. You have a credits sequence where everyone celebrates, but Waluigi is noticably missing. Suddenly, Waluigi shows up on his giant yacht and invites everyone onto it. The camera zooms into the distance, and there it is. Waluigi's island as the secret final board
Ever notice how Mario's Rainbow Castle is the only board where somebody gives you a star? A couple of the boards show the star by itself with no host to buy it from. Makes you wonder if the host is a secret for now. It would be odd to just pay for a star with nobody there.
well, some other games have done that as well? And not having a host would probably speed things up, when it comes to Star moving animation, and Star buying dialogue.

I think there’s a good chance we may see 2 more extra unlockable boards. As you rightly say it’s billed as the biggest Mario party so having 9 boards would fit with that. I think waluigi island and creepy cavern are the most likely to return think they would fit well on the boards layout😊

I don't think we're getting any board from 2 though because we only have one board from 3, and for mario party 1 and 2 we have 3 boards each(superstars included). It makes sense if we get two boards from MP3 and one board for MP1(because the original game has 8 boards). If they were to do that we will have 4 boards from MP1, 3 boards from MP2,and 3 boards from MP3. Basically we will have around half of boards from MP1,2,and 3 respectively.(This is all speculation at the end of the day).
I feel like Chilly Waters is just Likely, rather than Very Likely. It could go on one of the hilltops near the Rainbow Galleria or maybe artificial snow on top of King Bowser’s Keep. As for more boards, we could definitely see more boards, but I’m thinking it’s not super likely. I noticed people mention the website says there’s 7 boards. But it could be DLC, since they haven’t done DLC before, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe waited 5 years for DLC. So who knows what they’ll do?
First off, ive officially lost faith that were ever getting dlc boards on a mario party after mario party superstars dropped the ball with that, BUT on some crazy chance that we do get a dlc board and its from mario party 3, based on the map layout and the suspicious looking cracks on that cliffside, it would 100% be creepy caverns.
Completely agree. I personally don't think DLC is likely... 3 Year on average turn around for Mario Party Games... Plus Switch wont be the primary console come a years time.

I still say Creepy Cavern is most likely, but I have wondered lately if that crack in the wall could lead to an Engine Room 🤔 Which means my top two choices for the crack in the wall are my two least favorite boards from their respective Mario Party games 😳 Oh, well. @@Swiftjar Glad my confidence gave you confidence!! I am 90% convinced there are no side modes in this area of the world. The only thing I worry about is weird decoration, like they just put a weird slide against the crack in the wall to slide into the ocean or something, but that just doesn’t seem correct. A definite possibility, but seems less likely imo.
We have beach board (Goombas Lagoon), lava themed board (Bowsers Keep), forest themed board which technically can also count as spring/fall board (Mega Wigglers Tree Party), desert board(Western Land), sky board(Marios Rainbow Castle). Almost all major themes are there but only winter theme remains so Chilly Waters would make perfect sense to make it complete!

I'm pretty sure if there will be secret boards, there would only be one secret board. I think the secret 8th board would either be a MP3 board or a secret Kamek board (Maybe Bowser's keep is similar to Bowser Magma Mountain from MP1, where we think it's the final battle board, but it's actually not and kamek reveals he has one more special board to visit, where he is the main part of this special kamek board. Maybe you have to play all the boards or complete all the modes to unlock the kamek board. Just like how you need to collect a total of 100 stars in MP1 to unlock the eternal star board) However i think the "8th board is a MP3 board" would be more likely, because if the island is a interactive battle royale area and the crack on the earthy mountain will be an unlockable board, then the 8th board is creepy cavern, because it takes place underground (12:14)

Something to keep in mind is that they can always improve boards. I personally thought Peach's Birthday Cake was improved a good bit in Superstars.
I dont expect Spiny Dessert to be included since we already have Western Land and it too is a dessert theme.

@@Swiftjar Glad my confidence gave you confidence!! I am 90% convinced there are no side modes in this area of the world. The only thing I worry about is weird decoration, like they just put a weird slide against the crack in the wall to slide into the ocean or something, but that just doesn’t seem correct. A definite possibility, but seems less likely imo.

We have beach board (Goombas Lagoon), lava themed board (Bowsers Keep), forest themed board which technically can also count as spring/fall board (Mega Wigglers Tree Party), desert board(Western Land), sky board(Marios Rainbow Castle). Almost all major themes are there but only winter theme remains so Chilly Waters would make perfect sense to make it complete!
@@Marko-ij4vy Exactly, it hurts me how we haven't gone any winter themed board since like MP6, so having Chilly Waters or having a brand new winter themed board would be great!

I'm pretty sure if there will be secret boards, there would only be one secret board. I think the secret 8th board would either be a MP3 board or a secret Kamek board (Maybe Bowser's keep is similar to Bowser Magma Mountain from MP1, where we think it's the final battle board, but it's actually not and kamek reveals he has one more special board to visit, where he is the main part of this special kamek board. Maybe you have to play all the boards or complete all the modes to unlock the kamek board. Just like how you need to collect a total of 100 stars in MP1 to unlock the eternal star board)
However i think the "8th board is a MP3 board" would be more likely, because if the island is a interactive battle royale area and the crack on the earthy mountain will be an unlockable board, then the 8th board is creepy cavern, because it takes place underground (12:14)

1: Chilly Waters - Very Likely, As They Would Want A Fan Favorite, Ice Glacier is possibly unlockable on the island and nothing clashes with its theme.
2: Creepy Cavern - VERY Likely with the Crack Below With Moss Pointing Towards It's Possibility
3: Deep Blooper Sea - Pretty Likely, But Evidence To Support It For Now Is Nonexistent
4: Spiny Desert - Has Different Gimmicks Than Western Land For Sure But Still Is Inferior To Western Land To Be A Board
5: Waluigi's Island - Seems Too Much Like Goomba Lagoon And Too Packed Up
6: Woody Woods - Already Remade
