When pull starting any gas operated tool/lawnmower/ snowblower, generator etc pulling the cord halfway out twice then give it a full pull makes starting gas engines easier and it works. Thanks for the video informative and interesting

I’ve heard dozens of raves about these and finally needed one recently because of the ice storm that recently ripped up western WV and just so happened to catch one coming off the truck at the local store. I have a Honda 2000 and it’s awesome, I can’t say enough how impressed I am with my predator 3500! It’s quiet, quality, and very efficient.

I have a predator I think its a 4300. We only use it a few hours a month when the power goes out. But it has never let us down. These honda clones are great for the money. I actually went with this brand because I seen it was what you used. Call them up and demand that referral fee.

I’ve had one since 2020 and it’s a bulletproof beast. I almost completely strayed away from harbor freight generators after buying the $100 tiny pos that wouldn’t start once but glad I took the chance on the predator 3500. Thanks for the video man.

it's February 15 2021. The great Freeze got to devour most of the US including Houston Texas where I live. I live in the country in my 37 ft fifthwheel and the freeze got the power throughout Texas to stop. I started my predator 3500 in sub freezing conditions with the electric start. I havent ever charged the battery and it still starts right up. I've owned it a year and bought it used. I absolutely love this generator. I'll buy another one for sure some day.

I also live in Oklahoma. I bought two of these and I run them parallel to run both my A/C in my fifth wheel. When I don’t need the A/C I can run everything on one. Also used one of them to power my house during the recent snow event when we were without power for several days. It was able to run heaters in the well house as well run everything in the house except heater but I used the wood burning stove for that. Great piece of equipment.

We have had one of these for a few years now. It has never let us down. We live at 5,200 foot altitude so it only puts out about 2,600 and can peak at 3,000 +/- but at high altitude that's true for any generator. I had to drill a few holes in the cover to help it breathe but again, that's not a fault with the generator, that's just an altitude thing.
We have less than 500 hours on ours but need it to power medical equipment when the power goes out. It has been super reliable, I just wish it had a fuel shut off to keep fuel out of the carb when it doesn't get used for a while. For the cost I couldn't recommend these more.

Not too long ago you mentioned that you run this generator up to 14 hours some days. That got me to thinking about something. I was already guessing that you most likely weren’t using 100% of its power. You could buy a battery charger plus whatever you would need for your future solar system BUT just from the batteries on out. Then while having to use the generator anyway, you could be charging the batteries to use during other times & save some wear & tear on the generator. Even just a couple of batteries now would be useful I would think.
