Wading Shallow River for Angry Smallmouth Bass!

- In this episode I go wading a shallow MD river searching for some aggressive smallmouth-bass. I spend around five hours fishing the river under the rain and hook into a good number of bass. The monocacy river is home to many species and small-mouth bass are abundant in the river.

I’m just catching up with your recent videos and I can’t believe I missed this one. I love the Monocacy and I’ve definitely been to that spot. Down river from there has been more productive for me with more rocks and deeper holes. Like you said, upriver is a bit featureless. Love the smallmouth action.
It’s all good man! I’m glad you’re enjoying the content! I’ll have to try downstream next cuz I’d only fish upstream from there, but yeah plenty of fish there! Haven’t caught any big one from there yet, but maybe next year!
Nice video! I've tried to fish that river once and it was 1 inch deep where I went lol. Never went back since. Maybe I should check it out again sometime. 🤔
It’s not a deep river, but you probably should try it again when the river is full

Sure man! You can still catch them. During this session Hurricane Ian rain was making it about 50 degrees air temp. Pretty chilly. The water is still not too cold. You should try catching some before it gets too cold.
