Angel Jones I only tried their coffee (thrice at three different locations) and it was disgusting. I was too scared to try the lattes and frappucinos after that... But some of the online drinks that are supposed to be copycats tasted good and they're cheaper to make at home.

As someone who works at Starbucks, we don't know all the recipes and if you want us to make one, please bring it in and we will gladly create it. Also, we can never blend any food in our blenders so keep that in mind as well . Thank you :D

Where did the logic come from that it's unhealthy to have a sip of a milkshake or even o whole milkshake once a year. Ingrid clearly no longer eats these things at all, but why is it unhealthy to do it sometimes? There is such a thing as having too low body fat.

***** Yes, frappuccino stands for frappe + cappucino. You cannot have cappuccino without coffee, so it's just a milkshake. To make it s Starbucks frappucino add a shot of espresso.
Obviously yeah, but none of these could get away with a shot of espresso, except maybe the chocolate, so it's advertised wrong, isn't it?
***** Not always. There are also creme based Frappuccinos (i.e. the strawberries and creme or the vanilla creme).
The secret menu doesn't exist, I asked one barista from starbucks if it's true and he said that it's not true. He also said that they can make the so called 'secret menu' if you give them a recipe on how to make it.

As somebody who has a friend who works at Starbucks, I can confirm that the secret menu doesn't exist, and if you tell a Starbucks employee to make something off of the secret menu, they will probably decline your order. You have to be specific when ordering your drinks if you want something that's close to a "secret menu" drink.
You have to order it by ingredient not by name

Ok. There is nooooo secret menu. The baristas normally don't know how to make these things. Please make sure you give them the ingredients to write down.
Yeah whenever I ask to get the cotton candy frap the sticker on the cup says vanilla bean frappuccino with raspberry syrup.
***** It depends on the place you go to. Personally my Starbucks I go to always gets it right. If your baristas don't know how to make a certain drink from the secret menu I recommend going to a different Starbucks or a different bariasta..

forevermore perhaps if someone is a new employee at a starbucks, they won't know the secret menu recipes and shouldn't be required to know them since they're not on the menu available to the public. they're not miracles makers and i'm sure they will eventually get the recipes down.
but no like really… People just make things up and post it online. There are endless possibilities, because there are so many flavors. However, the "secret menu" doesn't exist. Whereas, other restaurants actually do have secret menu - In n Out being one of them. Trust me. I'm a Starbucks barista.

I've never even _had_ cinnamon toast cereal.. We never had much junk food or anything other than mochi, pocky, and a bunch of weird "healthy snacks" ;-;
There is no secret menu, but there is asking for a drink on the menu and asking for different syrups n stuff like that. For example, if you want a cotton candy frap, you ask for vanilla bean with raspberry syrup. Don't expect your barista to know the name, but they can give you other syrups in your drink. There are websites that show different combinations. Remember, ask for the base and syrup, not the name of the drink

I work for Starbucks and these are customer and past barista's made up recipes so we can def make them but only if you have the recipe :))

Starbucks uses whole milk as the standard for all their Frappuccinos (except Light fraps).
I tried using Heavy cream but I feel like it dulls the flavor. It just tastes like there is too much fat.
I take all my fraps with soymilk which, I think makes all fraps taste better.
Also, Starbucks uses an ingredient called the Base or Frappuccino Syrup, which adds to the taste but also prevents the ice from getting chunky. The Base is used at Starbucks instead of ice cream.

Just so everyone knows, you can not order off the secret menu. You can ask for certain shots or 'pumps' of ingredients, or provide it for the starbucks baristas. You can't just say "I'd like a secret menu item, please!", because the baristas will have no idea what you're talking about! :)
