    I'm surprised how fast you're getting the dynamics of football and understanding the things each player are different from others
    I'm FREAKING happy
    Now about the jerseys...Every team has their specific colors to caracterize them. Barça is this "red and blue", Real has that All white, Manchester United has their red and white. The kit with your trditional colors are named "Home Kit", you usually play with this uniform when you're home. But what if you will play against a team the has similar colors to yours? Every team has one or two alternative kits, with different colors and they are named "Away Kit", the uniform you usually play when you're away of your stadium. The "Away Kits" change every season, usually to make the fans spend their money to buy the new uniform to cheer up for your team

    Ahem... here goes....
    Messi is like a Sorcerer Of The Ball or the Ball Whisperer.
    It is as if the ball is his ally in the field and answers to his summons, reacts dynamically to his every touch. He gives the ball a life of its own. He feels the ball and he breathes with the ball. He is truly a magician.
    If there is anyone in the world born to do anything, it is Lionel Messi to play futbol.
    I have nothing but love and respect for him and his game.

    Footballers have home,away and third jerseys which all look completely different plus their kits change every year. Messi played for Barcelona his whole career and their main kit is Blue and Red stripes or something similar. Your watching different clips in the period of 13 years so thats alot of kits. The baby blue and white stripes you see are the Argentine national team. They too also have home and away kits.

  • @ayaelkerf1362

    they have 3 new jerseys every season , the ''home'' jersey always has the same colors just different styles but the 2 others change every season

  • @HeberFerrazLeite
    @HeberFerrazLeite Před 5 lety +1

    Different shirts:
    - Home shirt
    - Away shirt
    - Third option shirt ... for marketing ...
    And that is when playing with their clubs. But then when playing with their national teams (in Messis case: Argentina) they also have a home shirt, and an away shirt.
    Additionally the shirt design sometimes changes from season to season. The home shirt usually remains quite stable, but the away shirts change ... mainly to promote sales for the new shirt. :-) So when seeing the highlights of several years, you are seeing a whole bunch of different shirts, depending what game it was.

  • @markostanic6136

    There are what are called 'advantage plays' where the ref lets the play keep on going, because the player/team that is fouled still has possesion of the ball and can benefit from an ongoing play (advantage). Like if a player is fouled but manages to sneak the ball through into a fast break, there is a chance of scoring a goal, so the ref gives advantage, and after the play is done he can go back and book (give a yellow card) the player committing the foul, if necessary. Only when the foul committed is worthy of a red card can there be no advantage given.

    Most players don't have the control Messi's control of the ball so usually they do a tactical dive so that they don't lose possession. Also, for players like Ronaldo players look to get a foul just outside the box for a goal-scoring opportunity because it looks great and it feels great as a player.

    In football, a ref may not call a foul if he sees that the player, in this case Messi, still has advantage of the ball or play. Once he sees he actually loses the ball and decides it should be a foul then he'll call it. It's called advantage.

    A club team generaly has 3 different jerseys per year. One for home games (usually the one that refers to the club's colors), one for away games, and a special one used either for cups or Champion's league. Each year, jerseys generally are changed, with new designs. Home jerseys tend to be kind of similar from a year to another (but sometimes they're tribute, like Barça's home jersey in 2006 which, if I remember well, was a tribute to one of the first and more emblematic jerseys of the club) while away and third jerseys can be really different (over the last 10 years, Barça had yellow, sky-blue, purple, brown, black and pink jerseys for exemple). National teams each have two jerseys : one for home games, one for away ones.

Each kit will change every year, but for the home kit, only the design will change slightly, the colours are usually the same. As for the Away and Alternative kits, they can change drastically each year.

    In general, if a defender does something dangerous (example: streched leg with nails unterneath the foot), it´s gonna be a foul, no matter if Messi keeps the ball, or loses it. But in general, it´s not a foul, as long as the player seems to keep ball-possesion, despite any violent intervention... As long as Messi stands up, and regains ball-possesion, the referee won´t whistle a foul.
    3:10 he signals to the reffere with his raised hand, that it was his own fault, that he fell, and not a foul from the defender... Messi has done that several times, when he tripped over some pothole on the pit, or slipped on the wet green.
    8:05 When your team is the guest in the opponent´s town, and your jerseys are too similar with the opponent´s from afar, then you have to wear the replacement-jerseys (while the home-team always keeps its colours, and so, a slight additional home-advantage), and depending on the opponent´s colour, there are some other colours that contrast the most... So, a single replacement-kit isn´t always anough, cause depending against who you play, your main jersey or the 1st replacement-kit may not cut it, so, 1st league teams, who have enough money, have 2-3 replacement-kits, that can be combined with every other opponent´s kit-colours for maximum contrast and recognizability. Also, think of that, that Messi plays for a couple of teams in this video, for example, for Barcelona or for the argentinean national team... All in all, it´s for making the referee´s job easier, as well as for the spectators.
    12:18 I think, despite Messi being fouled here, he cashed-in a foul hinmsel here, cause the referee judged, that Messi is trying to humiliate the defender with his dribbling-superiority, which counts as showing-off, and is anti-athletic, unfair, and thus, a foul... I think, Messi humiliating an opponent with his skill, is the unfairest Messi will ever be...

    Messi does dive. Every professional soccer/football player dives, some more than others (Messi being one of the people that dont do it that much) but everyone does it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching *"WHY SOCCER PLAYERS SHOULD DIVE" a video by a channel called Become Elite* run by Matt Sheldon a professional footballer/soccer player. It's a controversial video but has a lot of truth to it!

    There's an argentinian midfielder called Ponzio who played for spanish team Zaragoza most of his career. He faced Messi many times. There's a particular game where he kicked Messi from behind and Messi lookedat him really angrily but continued the play. Then they almost had a fight as Messi was really mad at him for that. When the first time was over, and they were going to the dressing rooms, Ponzio said to Messi "Look Leo, I didn't want to kick you, I wanted to kick the ball". But Messi was really mad and said (as Ponzio was talking) "What? Are you gonna keep kikcking on me? Look, you can do it but I'm still going to dribble against you all day long!". You can see how Messi has a great personality.

    Usually 3 jerseys per season Home/Away/Alternate. Alternate is used just in case the two teams have jerseys that look alike. The goalkeeper also wears different color jersey than the team.

    Messi plays for the club Barcelona who have the orange/pink/navy&red over the years and also for Argentina national team who have the white&blue/black kits. Kits change a lot year by year depending on the club's kit sponsor for that year

    A very good documentary about Messi, with a lot of big players and football people talking about him is "Messi, World's Greatest Player".
    It's an old documentary (2012, more than 5 years ago), but it is a very good one to give you the idea of where Messi started and what he reached. It's 45 minutes long though, so it might not be what you would want to react on, but it will be a good documentary to watch regardless if you want to know a lot more about Messi in the first years he was already called the "GOAT", aged 24.

    Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the biggest ball hogs. In regards to the jerseys, the different ones you see are:
    1. Blue & Red -> Barcelona home colours
    2. All Blue/Yellow & Black/Pink - Barcelona colours
    3. Blue & White -> Argentina Home
    4. Navy Blue-> Argentina Away

      it wasn't him but his father coz he was only 17 years back when it happened & it was proved unlike ronaldo who did that in his mid 20's personally & it 14.5 million euros & that's much bigger than 4.5 million of messi plus taxes has nothing to do with football.
