On some level it appeals to the truth of how I feel about the modern nonchalance of inconsideration in our culture and the quick death of consideration among our society in general. Even though it seems like manners, the respect of others and considerate behavior were products of the 50s.. so long ago.. some people.. still around and raised within the confines of these values found camaraderie in kind gestures and behaviors. This today.. this wide acceptance of such crude and rude self indulgent acting out.. this cage fighting subconscious rule approved and coveted by large percentages of the public.. doesn't sit well with everyone.. perhaps some feel by demonstrating the outcome of where this behavior will lead in society.. the violence begets violence.. the gloves are clearly off.. perhaps could be protested in a more peaceful manner.. but.. hey.. why not brawl with it.. and win the point.. however over dramatized.. it's a movie.. a reflection of some trailing idea hidden in imagination and sold for a reaction.. or.. just kidding.. go Russell be on the screen.. kill them with everything but kindness please.. with your expressive larger than life heart shining.. I adore the way you deliver your embodiment of every character so far and I've become quite entertained here.. that is the goal isn't it.. congrats.. I'm watching for sure..

I saw it. It really impressed me. Some takes I would see them again in another movie called Mad Max. I always wondered if George Miller was influenced by Duel.
It is for women. They have HUGE egos and will never say sorry to a man no matter the fault or the situation. I've had two women apologize to me in my entire life, and it took both of them about eight years to finally say it.

This movie is very similar to the 70's movie called "Dual" This was Steven Speilberg's directorial debut. If you have never seen it, do so, it is wild. It is obvious that Russel Crowe's character snapped due to a major event that happened the day we see in the trailer. Notice how the Director shows Crowe's character sobbing, he then looks at his wedding ring and throws it. His wife probably left him that morning and when the woman in the car says, " I have nothing to apologize for", that is when Crowe's character snaps. So, those are the words his wife probably said to him and this sets him off. This would be a similar plot to "Falling Down", the movie in the 80's starring Michael Douglas which someone mentioned below. In that movie, the main character was fired from his job and his ex-wife would not allow him to see their daughter on his birthday. I see something similar here, however it is interesting to note that the Director has this take place in America and Crowe is playing a southerner. Gonna be a good one.
