Slash and Steven were both there when Nikki died. The documentaries I've seen say that Slash put him in a cold shower and his (slash's) girlfriend gave him mouth to mouth to try and revive him, both of which MAY have been part of the reason why the paramedics were able to bring him back in the first place. And fuck yea Kickstart My Heart is totally about literally dying and coming back from the dead! That is why it's such a rock and roll classic! Dr. Feelgood is about Nikki's heroin dealer too which is a slightly lesser known trivia fact.

According to the movie the two first met at the very same party where Vince & Razzle left to go get more beer & Vince crashed his car killing Razzle. Heather was not at that party in December of 1984 and did not even meet Tommy til the next year backstage at a concert.

Nikki and Tommy did have a meeting at a Denny’s. It wasn’t exactly like it was in the movie. Tommy was already in a band. And of course it seemed like Vince contacted them shortly after the meeting at the party, which was at the Starwood. There isn’t enough time in the movie to wait weeks for a meeting.

3 is inaccurate, Nikki suffered cardiac arrest. He was treated with 2 doses of Epinephrine(adrenaline) and CPR which saved his life. Even though he was declared dead(unlikely a paramedic would jump the gun like that and the perform CPR anyway but it can and does happen) he did infact not die. The fact that they where able to resuscitate him after 2 minutes is a credit to the well trained and highly skilled ambulance staff and their quick response time.

The place where they use to always hang out (“Rainbow Bar & Grill” in Hollywood) is a place I always go to. My dad’s friend, Ace Von Johnson, even has his own table with a thing that says his name. The place is really cool..there are famous peoples pictures all over and even some of their guitars!! If you live in LA or near there, you should definitely check it out!!

They need to do a movie about Guns N Roses. They are one of the most iconic bands in Rock history. Their up bringing of the band would make for such a great documentary.

The timline being fucked up also makes sense because of how much time needed to be fit in a movie with a limited runtime. Just watched the movie and thought it was a hoot and a half. Of course the movie isn't going all the way but it gives a good overview, and it was hilarious!
Story time - It was spring 1982, me and my buddies cruising to the record store in his Pinto to check out new stuff. We grabbed this album and a cassette of this crazy looking band no one had heard of. On the back of the cover it said "meant to be played loud enough to make paint fall off the wall" or some shit like that so we knew this we gotta hear. I still have the cassette. After all these years those are still some amazing moments in music history. Then, Shout at the Devil came out and everyone knew who the Crue was and another MTV star is born.

Billy Squire song, My Kind of Lover did come out in 1981, the same year Motley Crue got together, so that part is possible. That was Billy Squire's biggest album. So I can see Vince Neil singing it in his cover band.

I loved this movie, but if there was any truth it seemed like the band left Vince at his darkest moments. That made me sad for him. Glad I got to see him perform last year. Got some cool pictures from the Soaring Eagle Casino.

Ohmygosh hearing the narrator describing the actual "reunion meeting " and then watching the guys professing love and crying together, made me laugh

So many things left out and a few things added sounds like rock to me. Too fast for love was more metal than any of record. It's also my favorite. It was the reason why I loved Motley Crue and followed that entire tour. All of them have their own issues and meeting them on several occasions was a huge wake up call to get the heck out of Cali or end up strung out on drugs. Still they brought so much fk it to kids you couldn't help but be a fan and when rocking out to too fast for love it just hit differently just like Live Wire. Epic music back then.
