Which device would you pick ROG Ally or Steam Deck???
D-pad needs improved. D-pad and left stick location needs swapped. Needs a bigger battery.
Steam Deck. There’s no way I’d give up playing Starcraft 2 on handheld lol. The trackpads are a must.
The one with warranty...
So no Asus product ..
After update no warranty....
In the EU, Steam Deck cause the Ally is $870. Double the money. ASUS can only sell it at 699 in America.
Overall the steam deck is a better handheld experience. The steam os with the controls and options and ease of use beat better performance.

I gotta say I wish more companies put the analog sticks on the higher and same axis like the steam deck/ Nintendo wii u pro controller did. I love both layouts, but for handheld gaming I MUCH prefer the steamdeck configuration.
Looks to small that way
My favorite thing about deck controls is the easy to implement gyro aiming. Not having that kind of kills the Ally for me.
I wish companies would just put the two sticks on the same axis. I have no idea who had the idea that putting the left thumbstick up high is better

Your thumb pivots in a circle. This is actually more ergonomic for the secondary controls.
Rog Ally was just too expensive for me. The base model Steam Deck was priced just right for me. So yesterday I opted for a steam deck.
U picked an outdated system 😂
@YourVideosDogchitHeresWhy and one that's way better running than every other device out their also with better support and customization. Not to mention the battery life and button placement
But yeah it's just an 'outdated system'
Shut up 😊
My Steam Deck is more than enough for me. The emulation has been fantastic and smooth. Unless you have disposable income, I think most Deck owners won’t be getting the Ally. Personally, I think the Deck is the better value, especially if you opt for the smaller storage. The Ally is an added luxury I certainly can’t afford just one year after my Deck purchase but if you have the $, enjoy.

@@watchuwantgang Love my Steam Deck…no reason to sell it. No interest in “trading up” when I’m already satisfied.
If the Ally wasn't windows based, had trackpads, and has good gyro like the Deck then i'd probably consider. I have no intention of ever buying another portable PC if it can't match the Steam Deck's controls and customization. What's the point in a portable PC if most of the PC games that are designed around MKB are a bad fit for the extremely limited console control scheme. If I can't play Counter Strike or other FPS with the speed and precision of Steam Deck with gyro + trackpad then it's a pointless device.
The ally has the newer and therefore better hardware, but i actually like steam's software. Im looking forward to seeing just how well they can optimize it to get the most out of the deck.

Agreed. The back buttons on the Deck are fantastic, especially when handling emulated platforms like the WiiU and its 2nd screen.
I know. Why would they not have track pads? It boggles the mind. It's supposed to be a handheld computer.
Track pads really shouldn't be the deal breaker for me. It's a bit of a weak selling point albeit still cool on the deck. The options to multiple launchers and better hardware sold me
@@HitmonD The trackpads are a dealbreaker when it comes to using it as a computer and navigating the desktop, file explorer and internet
I am definitely curious about this but steamdeck has two features i love. 1) the sleep mode which makes it much more friendly to portable gaming 2) better performance at lower watts. The Ally draws too much power even at idle so that needs to be fixed but having 30W of power on some games would be a nice to have.
Couldn't agree more, the sleep mode on the Deck is a lifesaver. and also agreed with a 30w argument, it's nice to have but I set my Steam Deck to 8w and lock at 30fps anyways cuz I want the battery to last as much as possible, I'm not looking for higher fps and better graphics presets on my handheld device, I already have fast enough PC for that.
Asus rog has fixed the performance on low watt

Competition is awesome; especially at the sub-$700 level! The Steam still offers a lower entry point and a wealth of controller options, but they both look great.

The Asus does not compete with the Deck. It will be done in two years.
I think the device is awesome for people who are looking to max out the performance per dollar spent. That being said, as I get older I care less about raw performance and more about the options I get from my hardware. The Ally is in an awkward position because it's more expensive with less input features that the stream deck, but it's only $300 less than the gpd winmax 2 which also has Windows, and a portable clamshell design with a useable keyboard. That said, love to see the market sector of portable PCs is thriving.
Hi, which features would you say it’s missing that’s the dealbreaker for you? I’m considering either purchasing this or the steam deck. Thank you!
@@kenkaneki666 if you haven't purchased yet, here's my advice as a steam deck owner
buy the rog ally if you care more about raw performance, and you want to completely customize everything as a full-on windows pc.
buy the steam deck if you don't care as much about performance and care more about the quality of the games you are getting, having more features, and constant software updates every few weeks.
the steam deck also has a bigger community and more accessories so it has more community made stuff. I personally just use my steam deck to play halo and Forza and also use emu deck from time to time. hope that helps!
They are both so cool, I wish I was able to have a handheld console that is a mixture of both of those.
I already pre-ordered mine. June 13th. Can't wait!!
Pre ordered mine today 😎 can’t wait
I preordered as i was looking for a handheld that could handle all my platforms but I think this handheld will truely shine with updates from microsofts commitment. They say they are working to implement quick resume and a handheld mode for windows, I think if they can manage that properly this thing will be a beast.
That said Diablo is right around the corner and this will be perfect for that
Yup d4 on the ally is going to be 🔥!!!

Steam deck is overall better
Rog ally is a better device, no doubt
But here are the reasons why steam deck is better..
Price 399 is still 300 dollars cheaper. You can use that money for a sd card, dock, and games.
Rog ally is 1080p 120hz....but most modern games are not going to run at high/ultra settings , at 120hz and 1080p.
Steam deck is 800p. 720p games will look better on steam deck than upscaled on a 1080p screen .
Rog ally will end up running most games at 720p high and ultra settings...
Which will be better than the steam deck, but won't justify the price increase
Steam deck will run the games at a playable 30 to 40 fps, while rog will push 60 to 85 fps for the same game on the same settings.(720p)
But to the basic eye, most wont even be able to tell the difference unless they put up the fps counter on screen.
Windows is super easy to put on a steam deck. Two steps basically, and about 30 mins of your time while waiting for install to finish (if you already downloaded windows image)
Windows is not optimized for any handhelds including rog ally. People will find out the hard way in time.
Steam os is optimize for handheld computers. Linux is quite confusing compared to windows, but linux is also very easy if followed CZcams videos for directions. Once everything is set up on Linux, games runs better than windows except the games that cant run because of anti cheat software designed for windows. Games like overwatch 2 can be played on both windows and Linux, but games like call of duty can only be played on windows which is horrible until you install windows on steam deck too

The deck is so much more to me then a handheld console. I use the desktop side just as much for browsing, storage, emails and youtube. It's perfect for travelling when you need something more than a phone but not as cumbersome as a laptop. This is all possible with the track pads and I couldn't imagine buying another device that didn't have them.
Competition is a great thing and the Rog Ally is what we need. A more powerful and very customizable device that's on Windows that can play anything without constant tweaks. At the end of the day it's a "You do you." recommendation but it's nice to at least have options now in the handheld market. I just hope it does well and we get more competition in the years to come.
Ally is not what we need lmfao. Double the price for less featureset. Power isn't everything.

I have a steam deck with windows and i think it’s really tough to displace it as the king of handheld computer gaming right now. I think the track pads are what really sets it apart. I’d be interested in trying the ally though. it’s really not that difficult to put windows on the steam deck either i don’t have it dual booted and that gives you access to non steam platforms.

I think the one thing about the Steam Deck is the options it has. You can get the base Model for $400. That is significantly cheaper than the ROG Ally. Yeah if you want better storage you can spend more, however if you are adventurous that is also something you could fix down the line yourself with an upgrade and I believe a few more companies have jumped in with compatible drives. I want to say I saw a press release from Corsair announcing a drive designed for Steam Deck recently.
Why would anyone get the base version
🖕Congratulations you have been selected among my winners chat me up on telegram to claim your prize 💐
@divertiti With a base model and after getting a 1TO ssd upgrade you save 150$. That's why people get the base version, not to talk about the screen... That for some people is superior in the base model. And if you don't agree you just buy a 7$ anti-glare protection that makes the screen exactly the same as the most expensive model.
@@hivemind2811 512GB drive on the base model is £400 in the UK. £150 cheaper than the 512GB model.
The oled screen alone makes Ally a better option for me . Better ergonomics and lighter in weight are also two big plus for ally .
what i love is if i am on a trip like a long car ride or a flight i can plug this in and there is a turbo option and this bad boy obliterates the deck in terms of performance, plus having access to all of the game store launchers that is a huge plus. I have been holding out on the steam deck since launch as i have games across Steam, Epic, Game Pass, Uplay, Blizzard and EA and i would like to have access to all of these thanks to windows and apparently microsoft has been in serious talks to make a mobile friendly launcher of windows.
I thought about both but honestly im gonna stick with my gaming laptop which is light enough to play on the go with 8-10 hours of battery life in my carry case. I have a friend who has a steamdeck and battery life is shocking same as the asus only lasts 2 hours if lucky when shes playing coral island but another off putting thing for me is. I have small hands which both these consoles are to big with buttons in the most awkward places for small hands/fingers. My friend gets cramp playing on her steamdeck as its so chunky with far to many buttons in weird places its so uncomfortable. But besides that she still enjoys it but not as much as her pc and nintendo switch and also her xbox series and seems to play far less on her steamdeck than other computer and consoles because of issues playing on it. Im hoping soon now Microsoft have signed with nintendo they may come up with a competitive pc/handheld console it would make sense to as handheld and dockable is definitely the best of both worlds. All they need is more power for better performance, backwards compatibility of course big must and 4k docked 1080p in handheld. But looks out of these two the asus crisp white with the led lights looks so beautiful. £699 tho nooooooo ty. Ty tho for showing both of these two and there comparisons its interesting to hear the difference between the two. I honestly couldnt warrant spending that kind of money on either of these right now. Maybe in a few years buy one second hand or just wait to see what other competitors will bring in the future.
Good review 👍.

I went with the 64 GB steam deck then upgraded internal storage to 1TB for a $100 and bought a 1 TB microSD for $100. So I'm 600 in now but have two terabytes of storage. Also dual boot windows so still have access to non-steam games or multiplayer games that require anti cheat through windows. I definitely like the look of the ally but I hate the joysticks and how they're not symmetrical like the steam deck. I feel like it would drive me nuts. But the improved performance would be nice which hopefully they'll have on a future steam deck's but for now this is working fine for current titles. I just hope Valve hurries up with a legit version of Windows for the steam deck. If I didn't already have a steam deck I would be tempted to buy the ally but since I already have a steam deck and invested money and time into it there's no way I'm switching.
Great video, they announced the Z1 at $599, so it's $100 cheaper. The extreme is much faster and worth the extra $100 to me.
I agree. I prefer the Steam but the hardware stops me from getting one. So hoping Valve launches a Steam Deck Pro or something with 120hz and a chip to rival the Ally.
@@temporarymonk4022why would the hardware stop you. The deck works perfectly fine with what it has and runs well for a handheld device.
I have a question, how does the Ally play all PC titles? Does it run it through some kind of translation so the game thinks it's keyboard and mouse but it's controller?
Budget plus plays games - steam deck. Got ea play. Currently play the last Jedi, mass effect when I get a chance. Amazing device. Got it off Amazon cause it isn’t available in my country with a 512 se card and screen protector and still saved a bunch. Really worth it. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. The device just works, which I love.
So being a Xbox user, have gamepass pc as well, would the Rog be a better option or SD and work around getting gamepass? (I don’t own anything on steam)
I'll still keep the steam deck for Steam games but I need this for game pass, epic and ubisoft. Preordered one just now. Thanks for the review.
please let us know how the battle net launcher and the Diablo 4 server slam weekend goes on this thing... !!
is there comming an beta Software update to? Like on the Motherboards, where you loose your waranty, or go ahead and disable all the good features? 🙂
In the country where i live the steamdeck 64 gb cost the same as the ally z1 extreme with 512 gb. makes no sense for me to buy the valve so i went with the ally. So far im loving it.
As someone who is interested in PC gmaing in general and don't care about playing on battery, would this be a great PC for gaming for its price?
I would basically be playing while plugged in to my LG CX OLED eith a wirless controller, as of it is a console. Also the fact that I can take this "console" to work and plug it in to play there is a big plus against a huge PC tower
Im not seeing anyone comparing sleep of these 2 consoles. What is the experience like with Windows when you want to put your console down without exiting the game. Can you sleep the ROG Ally and resume games a day or 2 later without it drainig the battery? How quickly does windows resume into the game?
You mentioned that installing Windows on the Steam Deck is something that must be done by the end user. But how about installing SteamOS or Linux in the Ally? Would Asus provide drivers to do so? Because Steam does provides Windows drivers for the Deck. So the situation is actually worst with the Ally if they (and I'm confident they won't) don't provide Linux drivers.
Good point. I don’t think many companies can complete with valves inclusivity.
Both SteamOS and Linux desktop distros use OPEN SOURCE DRIVERS. AMD is itself VERY open and helping their systems mature. Only negative thing at the moment that ROG uses brand new hardware and drivers lags behind.
So together Valve, community and some companys make sure that drivers / system is ready to go on Linux.
Difference between Windows and Linux is that ALL drivers are included system by default.
(In some cases user must install Nvidia drivers manually)
So after installing OS for example to your desktop it is ready to up and go.
btw. Installing Pop!_OS (Linux distro) will take about 15min
Right. But Valve does provides the windows drivers. And I really can't picture Asus doing the same for Linux. Got ROG's laptops my self, so I can tell. About contributing to the kernel, that's even harder for Asus. So how come that having to install windows on your own is annoying on the Deck (according to OP comment on the video)? When compared to the Ally you do not get any kind of assistance to install Linux on it. That's even worse.
@@locoxella Difference is that Valve designed custom AMD chip but ROG has just regular laptop designed chip.
And normal AMD chips are powered with open source drivers.
You do not need to install windows on deck. The game library covers th mast majority of popular titles. And cover multiple store fronts.

It wouldn't make sense to do what you're saying. You can literally dualboot windows if you feel like you need your library that bad. They ally will short you not only in price but features and support.
It´s great to see competition and the Ally looks like a great Handheld PC. But the Steam Deck continuously improves it´s performance WITH game studios, for excample Naughty Dog wih Last of Us they work on a Patch for the Steam Deck specifically to improve it´s performance. And that is a big plus on Steam Decks side, Valve is very engaged to push it. Like you see with Doom Ethernal it got great Steam Deck improvements.
Ally has the better raw hardware, Steam the better Software, neither of them is a wrong pick.
But i will definitely not switch from my SD it´s a very great device and has not let me down on any game in the last great year with it, especially with the trackpads it´s amazing.
One question: Does the Ally support resuming the game where you stopped when you switch it off and then turn it back on?
Nope. This feature was something Gabe and Valve fought to get right with the Steam Deck, and it's proven to be invaluable to someone like me, who has to put a game down quickly sometimes.

Did you know that ASUS is only profiting so very little from the Ally? That probably explains why in EU, its crazy expensive (and begged LTT to advertise their new controller). @@kuma-bw1we considering steam holds 90% market share in the gaming space, and that it is preinstalled on the deck, it would be a reasonable conclusion that 90% of casual players' games would be readily available after the short sigh-in process of the deck. comparatively, the ally, while being more open initially, requires more setup to achieve the same result. to add to this, that the ally uses windows means that it does not have as good hardware integration, adding friction when changing things like TDP and hotkeys. while yes, people are more familiar with windows than steamOS, the fact that it is on a tiny touchscreen with no physical keyboard and mouse adds friction to the overall setup, at least until one is able to get big picture mode enabled on all their apps. conversely, steam automatically boots into steam's deck-optimized firmware, signed into steam and displaying all your games. just because windows is familiar does not make it automatically easier to use, especially in a brand-new and non-optimized control format.
One thing I don’t get about these handhelds. They make use a 120hz panel but can’t even play on 1080p resolution at a playable FPS. What’s the point of buying it if you have to lower the resolution to 720p just to play at 50-60fps?

I got the 64gb version and upgraded the SSD to 1 Tb ($70) and put a 512gb microSD ($50) in it for a total price of $555 including taxes. The Ally starts at $600 for only 512gb.
Unless you absolutely need the most power in your handheld device, I’d stick with the Steam Deck.
I think Steam Deck is better because it has more controls. It has a better advantage at being a handheld content creation device but it needs more freedom like the Rog Ally. I’m looking forward to the Steam Deck 2 launching with a physical keyboard similar to the GPD Win 4. I also hope they make the size a little small but still increase the size of the screen
The Ally has no software support and plenty of software bugs and problems. Not worth 699$
Is this easier to emulate than the steam deck? That’s all I really wanna use it for I have a gaming PC for the more serious games.
I would say it's the same. It's a Windows PC so emulation is the same as you would do on your gaming PC.
Steam decks software is more solid. Plus the touch pads for mouse use are miles better than the analogue sticks. Steam deck wins this round I think. Rog ally is kinda just powerful without consideration for battery life and using a hungry OS like Windows 11 isn't helping it. It's not that much better than a steam deck playing it side by side with the ally. Not enough to warrant purchasing it if you already have a steam deck. But the analogue sticks for mouse use and the touch screen are leagues below in usability than those touch pads on steam deck. Also, upgrading a steam deck is so so easy. Buy the 400 dollar one. Stick a 2tb nvme m.2 and then a 1tb sd card. You're out about 750 bucks. With a portable that has 3tbs. And can do everything the rog ally can do bar the screen performance and some small performance bumps from processor.
Ally has 90% of the battery life with 1/3 charging time, while being much much faster, lighter, quieter, cooler, better sound, more game compatible

@@divertiti Im not sure about more game compatible. Without touch pads it is very hard to play world of warcraft for example.. or games where you need mouse.
@@divertiti It only beats the deck when you drop the resolution to 720p. Otherwise you barely get an edge over it and you have to be plugged in. I wouldnt call an extra 5-10fps at 1080 much much faster. Its not that amazing.
@@MM.MischiefManaged lmao, so you're admitting it still beats the Deck while rendering at twice the Deck's resolution and if you lower it to the same resolution it beats the snot out of the Deck
Wait.. so how does it perform running Jedi survivor ???
Enough power to run VR in low setting? Just curious
It is actually possible to run games 1080p on Steam Deck`s display (downscaled)
So Deck vs ROG 1080p -1080p testing can be done.
Not sure if this device compels me enough to purchase, likely to wait for the SD2
Looking forward to play STARFIELD and FORZA MOTORSPORTS 8 with the ROG ALLY next year when all of yhe current issues will be addressed by Asus. Been planning to buy me an XBOX SX or a PS5, but I think I want to go portable this time.
I am tired of plugging in the TV and the game console then turning them on every time, the reason why I sold my PS4 . All I want is to pickup something then start playing right away, like the good old PSP days. The fact that I can bring it outside is the best feature for me, and oh, its 1080p/ 120hz. I don't care about battery life because 2.5 hrs of play time is enough for me.
I'm a patient man, so waiting can be the most rewarding thing to do.
My pc boots in 4 seconds. I am playing a game in 20 seconds. What are your talking about? Series X is even faster.
The ally is clearly superior spec wise, no doubt. But until battery tech gets better it feels a bit like a moot point. Cheapest steamdeck and just slap a huge flash drive in it. Save you 300ish bucks.
Now! What I could certainly see the ROG being great as would be an actual, budget, daily driver computer with a decent dock. Tons of applications for it.
My steam deck landed a few days ago I haven’t unboxed it yet but this looks pretty good
@Max Romeo I would just return it and get a Ally
Whats the performance of genshin impact in rog ally compare to iphone 14 pro max?
What can be done in the way of virus protection that wont hog resources?
You cannot actually control the resolution of the Ally through armoury crate (how you showed in the video). In the sense that any game can actually override the resolution. Because is the way Windows software works. There are several problems with the user experience that can be solved. But again, windows is not (and most likely never be) meant to be used in a handheld. (Or mobile, or server, or IoT, and the list goes on).
They don't even realize why windows doesn't work great on deck the first place. You hit the nail real well with this explanation.
@@blvckl0tcs750 I imagine that people that doesn't has their games in Steam and instead uses something like Epic games. Or people that just want to play the one game that actually doesn't work on Linux without using a cloud service (fort-cough-nite), might find the option of a Windows handheld device appealing. Microsoft still can't deliver a usable on-screen keyboard for windows. And in the Ally you are supposed to use that mess of an on-screen keyboard with the touchscreen. Today I played Crusader kings 3 with the touchpad on the Deck. It was a good experience. Had to invoke the magnifying glass with steam+L1 a few times, and it also worked fine.
Can you attach bluetooth keyboard or mouse?
I wounder if the 120hz was put on there for the 40fps mode due to the fact that 40 goes into 120, just like 30 fps works on 60hz
( Digital foundries) makes a wonderful video on ps5 120hz 40fps mode for the same reason in Radget and clank ps5
How about sleep function? On steam deck, i can sleep and wake with no hassle. Just like mac os. On windows, its known for the sleep function doesnt work smoothly. I always shutdown mw windows, as its sleep function is not reliable

Does the ally have rumble?
I’ve learned on the steam deck that 40 fps is a nice frame rate for on the go gaming and helps the looks out quite a bit!
holy cope
@@learntostrafe lol mad.
@@learntostrafe real. I own steam deck and 40fps is shite. I wish i can run 60 fps all the time. Im gonna buy rog ally because im interested to use my spare 2060 to play games too when i could get the egpu! Not gonna sell my deck because i love the ergonomics, the haptic on the trackpad is also very satisfying to use.
@@Bos_Meong ofc it's shite , imagine spending 500-700 usd/euro on a device only to be able to run 40 fps on higher titles , waste of money :)
@@ofensatul lol tell that to switch owner. they are clutching to 20 fps all the time
People need to remember, Asus still has a month for software revisions. Also the Steam Deck released in a pretty janky state too. What seems to be the Achillies heel of the Ally is it's battery life. Unfortunately, I'm not confident Asus will make significant improvements to it. Im not referring to Turbo mode, but in Silent mode. It currently runs significantly less efficient for older PC and retro games than the Steam Deck. That could be a deal breaker for many potential buyers.
Armory crate and windows kill the experience. The deck is the better handheld experience, and I don’t think that’s debatable. If you need more fps, and a better screen then by all means get the ally. Though there are other options as well that run windows.

@@psvitaoled197 The Steam Deck offers a great handheld experience NOW, but definitely not at release. Go back and watch those day one Steam Deck reviews. I was part of the 2nd batch and it was janky AF. I couldn't recommend it to most gamers, but, today, it's fantastic device. The question is will Asus provide updates and support on par with Valve?
Comparing how valve works and how Asus works.. valve fixed more than 80% of issues within the first weeks of launch. Their support on the software and hardware is incredible. Asus with their trackrecord will not do the same!
@@conchobarthe deck on release had a fine experience what are you talking about. Whatever you are complaining about on it's release is mostly because it didn't exist or was well implemented on Linux with hardware. Not necessarily on the deck.
This looks like it is going in the right direction. Just needs to get to 500 and I would be so down. Also, really want PS to release more games on other platforms
Steam deck to me is just too ugly and it seems to have some problems with other systems (ie gamepass)
@@DarthAndylus it doesn't have problems with those systems, just run windows. Also the deck isn't ugly lmao it's really ergonomic.
I got a steam deck (512 gig) with two partition. steam-os and Windows 11 + sd cards for both with each 512 gig to change. I think thats the best you can go with and steams Buttons and Haptic are great. I am happy with it and wont change but if you got no portable handheld you should wait how it will divelope. Greatings from sunny Bavaria 😀
PS thanks for the great Video and comparison
2 days with Rog is way to early to rate. But going over spec and what the Rog is yes I agree. But you will have issues with the Rog. Steam just works right now I had the Rog and it was great for me out of the box then had issue with sd slot and crashes with windows then Wi-Fi connection. I bought mine from bestbuy and had to just take it back. I wanted it to work so bad cause your right the form factor is great. But I think window handhelds need time like the steam.
Can't do without those trackpads personally.
Facts
As someone that is looking to get one of the two but still unsure the Trackpads seem like big thing missing from the ROG Ally.
Would you mind mentioning when you use the Trackpads or what games specifically you play with them?
@Chammy Drawing in Okami, precise aiming in FPS, cursor control for mouse in games & OS, additional button mapping for games which use keyboard controls, easy screen swapping with a simple haptic touch for emulating two screens,...those are off the top of my head for which I've used them.
@@xmenotux I know that is your preference, but me personally, don't like the trackpads and you can do everything without them.
@@xlRyusei That's not really true. You can do everything YOU want to do without them, but there are games that are simply not feasible in handheld without those track pads, and they add a quality of life that sticks just don't do.
What about the Razer Edge 5G?
How much fps in Valheim thanks bro
The thing about the steamdeck it performs GREAT at lower TDP's, the Ryzen Z1 is almost as good. Battery life is an issue for me, and the size. It's just for something that large, I don't see myself commuting with it, and if i was to use it at home, I'd rather just prefer to stream from my pc with moonlight and a virtual machine in high or ultra graphics and not kill my battery. The Steamdeck is still great given the price and the library and how it's totally geared for gaming, and linux frame times are WAY better than Windows.
But this is great! More competition! But for the moment, I'm happy with my Ayn Odin and RP3+.
Great review! Hope you're doin' well, buddy.
Deck and Ally have similar battery levels at similar power level while Ally being much faster

@@divertiti They don't actually. For the amount of power the Asus uses, it eats up way more battery life. It should have bigger batteries.
