@@patatr4943the figures he quoted make no sense. 0-200 in 4.5 is possible, but 0-300kph in 16.5 is slow for something already doing 200kph in 4.5 seconds.

Once you go track-only with the exhaust...why keep the car in any way like a road car? It's just a matter of budget, how far you take it on the way to a crazy silhouette racer that only share some engine parts with the road car? GT3 race cars are a big step lighter, and even Aston and Bentley achieved that weight?
Going the GT3 race car build direction with everything, but an AWD base like the Turbo S would be interesting for me. Then do whatever is needed to get it balanced. Wider front tyres and body, all the aero bits.

The cars are amazing, and the facility mind blowing. But am I the only one who _hadn't_ heard of SSR until these videos? Ok, I'm not a big Porsche guy, but I've heard of other European Porsche tuners (such as RUF, Gemballa, 9ff and TechArt) but never SSR?!
Have you heard of Manthey Racing ? The porsche tuners you mention (except RUF) are engine/performance and styling "tuners". Manthey and SSR make the cars go faster round the racetrack without any engine mods, through suspension, aero, weight saving. Proper racetrack tuning without putting your engine at risk. Manthey kits are fully warrantied by porsche, not sure where SSR stand, but it would be hard for porsche to refuse a engine warranty issue just because of suspension and aero mods I think.

That Turbo S “GT3” is insane. I wonder if once the 992 GT2RS comes out it’ll outperform it.
of course it will outperform the ssr, but the 2rs will be a much more radical track focussed car, the ssr gt is the perfect mix between gt3 and turbo in performance on straight line (even better than the turbo s) and track with the turbo s practicality
Be nice to see a price comparison. If GT3RS are going at £350k. A new GT2RS is going to be very expensive to buy. If you can't get an allocation. How much are these cars?

@@petermacmill703 the 5th is a high speed blow off which would typically come in handy when hitting big curbs. It's proper Motorsport grade stuff.

Those the Turbo have 900 HP with normal fuel or with race fuel ?
I know there are well over 1000hp 992 turbos w/ normal fuel. E95 ethanol fuel allows even more power for turbo engines while still remaining road legal.
Was about ready to go to work. But work will have to wait another half hour for me...
I think it’s almost more practical to buy a 911 and get these guys to kit it out then be on a waiting list for the RS.
