Thank you for two wonderful new videos! I love Waterhouse art as well and was one of the backers for the Tarot of Delphi -- which I adore! I'm tempted to get the Waterhouse as well since these pre-Raphaelite archetypal images all work so well to tell stories when looked at together on the table. I think the Waterhouse deck splits some paintings into different cards so they can be placed next to each other if Im not mistaken? Also, I have to say I love ordering from Made in Earth. I bought several gorgeous handmade sweaters and some crystals that were gorgeous and brimming with great energy. You are such a JOY to watch. Thank you!!!

I have the Journey of Love Oracle, and I struggle to connect with it, but I think I am connecting to it more. I got the Fallen Angels Oracle as well this year and it just seems to want me see the cards. Back to JoL.
I just ordered the Mother Mary deck after stumbling across a review of it. This will be my first toe-dip into oracle decks, I've been strictly Tarot in the past, but I love Marian devotion and was really drawn to the style. I'm glad you touched on the companion book, I would have gotten either way but it's great to sneak a peek at it. The Sacred Rebels looks amazing, I might have to get that one, too!

I think you are just so beautiful in every way especially visually (: Anyways, Since I only have like 4 Oracle decks and "The Gita" being my favorite I been watching my fave Tarot youtubers who's style is like mine favorite oracle decks so I can get some ideas. I haven't seen Sacred Seeds top oracle decks yet and I know if she has some they'll also be my faves, lol. But I'm hoping you'll introduce me to some. So far I love the Fallen Angels Oracle and already ordered it, so It's on the way. I also have The John Waterhouse Oracle from Etsy custom backs too on the way to me, Yay!! I have had The Gilded Tarot but have not worked with it since purchasing it several years ago when I was taking a class in tarot reading. Unfortunately I became ill and only got in 2 classes then everything stopped. Are you familiar with that deck? If so, do you think it's good for beginners? I have a lot of healing to do and will definitely be getting one of the 3 you reviewed, probably the Mother Mary. I wanted to ask you, I seem to be more drawn to the Oracle decks so can I start with Mother Mary or is it best to begin with tarot? Thank you so much for any advice you can give. I just love your energy and your thoughtfulness you put into every word. I can tell that you really connect with your decks and I can't wait to have that for myself. The Fallen Angels Oracle is one that has always appealed to me, although I've never gotten it. I love how elegant the cards look. Is it readable for someone who has little actual knowledge of Christian mythology?
the_soup Absolutely! The guidebook gives you lots of helpful information, and the cards themselves carry the energy of these beings so well, that it's more about reading them than any historical knowledge. I highly recommend this deck.
I can't help but think of the Waterhouse deck as being a bit of a rip-off. Images torn wholly from Waterhouse's paintings... no meanings attached -- you have to make up your own. Seems like a lazy cash-in to me -- and I'm writing as one who also loves Waterhouse's art, and from a young age. It feels to me as though very little personal effort went into the creation of the deck and it was more about the incoming moolah. Having said that, if it works for you, and you love the deck, then that's the most important thing! (As an aside, I bought The Wisdom of the Golden Path Oracle on your recommendation, and like it a lot, so thank you!)
Lol, Poor chap had nothing left & going for him/her when creating the Water house deck, but the "makeup your own meanings" of what seemed liked a cool scape goat of telling people that this deck is worth buying cause it's fresh, cool, & appealing because you can get in tuned with your intuitive side & be creative by making your own guide book. When actually it's more like what you said. Too lazy to give it 100 & figured people would never notice, haha.
