Caroline Borole is a South African artist who was first bitten by the stage bug at the age of 14 after winning a high school talent contest, it was then that she knew she was meant to perform. She matriculated in 2001 went on to study musical theatre at Tshwane University of Technology. Under the guidance of Vicki Karras, Caroline performed throughout her tertiary career, opening the door for a fruitful career both on and off the stage.
She was one of the Top 10 finalists on the fourth season of the M-Net reality music competition Idols in 2007. In 2008 she began playing the TV role of Tshidi in the SABC2 comedy series On the Couch. She also worked for 2 years on SA’s most loved soapie Generations. Caroline was incredibly honoured to be a part of the cast of Sister Act and humbled by her Naledi nomination in 2017. At the age of 20 Caroline was a cast member/singer in a show Girl Talk 005 that was staged by one of South Africa’s biggest producers, Richard Loring. Her latest on-stage role as the diva Tina Turner in the hit production which has toured internationally, TINA: Simply the Best.
