Lia Elise, talented 22-year-old singer, songwriter and recording artist, has joined forces with non-profit organization RADA to release her new inspiring single, ‘I Will Sing’. The song is a soul-stirring anthem of hope that serves as a beacon of light amidst life's trials and tribulations.
Following her debut single 'Same Old Story' in June 2022, Lia Elise embarks on her next musical endeavor with the release of ‘I Will Sing’, made possible by collaborating with RADA.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the single, she says, "I wanted to write a song that most people, if not everyone can relate to. A journey from hopelessness to hope, being lost to discovering oneself. Even though one might experience some of life’s toughest seasons, you can still be joyful."
Born and raised in Cape Town, Lia Elise's musical journey started with her singing at the young age of six and honed her skills through classical training. Finding her niche in Jazz, contemporary ballads, and soul, she has graced multiple stages, captivating audiences with her versatile vocal styling. She has also had the opportunity to perform along with artists such as Ard Matthews, Zolani Mahola, and Good Luck and at popular venues such as Café Roux in Noordhoek.
‘I Will Sing’ features on a new body of work produced by RADA - RADA Unearthed Volume Three. “I am so incredibly honored and excited to be a part of this album because RADA is a humanitarian organization that stands for something that I believe in deeply - love and compassion for people. They are a shining light in a broken world and my hope is for more people to become aware of people/organizations who are making a positive difference to the lives of others,” says Lia Elise.
