And the more packed the scores are, the smaller the notes are. Hence, the smaller the notes are, the lower Brett and eddy bends down towards the score. Hahaha

    For people who aren’t musicians:
    + = left hand pizz, which is hard to do since you are using your left hand for notes at the same time
    ︶ = legato, which means they have to play the notes included in that legato in the same bow movement
    . = if it’s over the note it means staccato, or with emphasis
    0 = played with an empty string (no fingers on the string)
    4 = played with 4th finger on the string before
    I know this isn’t everything, but I hope this helped
    edit: please see replies for better music advice

      @PhantomFan1a Před 4 lety +39

      This week I started learning about left hand pizzicato and I have only been playing for over a yr and I can tell you it is hard. It isn't so bad on the A and E string but the G and D string is harder as you have to bend your wrist at an odd angle to pluck the strings and play it pizzicato with your left hand :s

    I love the "sorry german speakers" editor's note. This entire channel needs that disclaimer but I love everyone involved anyway. Adds to the entertainment.

    They do more dynamics in 1 bar (in SIGHT reading) than my whole wind orchestra in a 6 page piece lol 😂

    They play it with no metronome, wow. And that's pretty accurate

      @rea6268 Před 4 lety +3

      Maybe they have a visual metronome

      Svetlana Kashukova weil they listen to the metronome before they play so they know how fast it is

      It wasnt accurate at all, on all of the allegro they played at like twice the written speed of 80bpm

    In the Leclair, the + denotes a short trill. Remember, Leclair was a baroque composer.

      And at level 5 I was also waiting for Ysaye's Sonata for two violins. Such a hard piece to sight read.
