From the mobile origin stories we now know that Filia's amnesia wasn't really caused by Samson rather the injuries she sustained from Vitali's goons
Samson was misunderstood by Leviathan.
That's a retcon.
Also to ad to Samson's innocence: in Fillia's story mode when she gets the Skullheart and uses the wish to help Carol, Samson didn't intervene nor did he try to influence her decision showing that he truly just wanted to help Fillia

@@nigelxd3735 How about the literal guy who wrote the story Alex Ahad? Samson wasn't all peaches and cream in the original story and the amnesia was brought on by him bonding onto Filia's head. In an alternative story Samson almost pleads for Filia not to go through with wishing her memories back because she told Samson she didn't want to remember.
Skullgirls needs an animated series or “movie” and this proves it
I believe Skullgirls is getting a WebToon series, it was announced awhile ago in 2019. I heard from others that it's in development hell, but they're still planning on releasing it. I know it ain't the same as a movie or animated series, but hell it's still cool.

It's Liam Obrian, his voice is legendary.
Liam has one of the most magnificent voices to ever grace the earth, same goes with Kevan Brighting
After playing Fillia's story in the mobile game and hearing Leviathan say "I won't let you bring doom to another host" just hurts, man poor Samson

The history of this game is a mess. Most things don't have a sense when you see the different stories as a whole world, some characters have no place in the timeline of other characters, and since the time of the apparition of the skull girl is never established, most stories that take place in the "past" look more like a year old past making the past stories a total disaster tbh.
@@user-en4eo1cc4t I can't disagree, I would like to know how a lot of it ties together- Living Weapons are an example of a concept that seems to occupy space in the lore without much elaboration right now.
@@user-en4eo1cc4t Honestly it feels like it's intended to not make sense but it's kind of like some random puzzle game wwhre you try to find which is the correct/right ending or smth- and then it actually doesn't have the right pieces so all you have is a mess
I like how Squigly hears what Leviathan is suggesting doesn’t like it and gets ready to fight.
The fact that this got in my recommended videos in CZcams is awesome. This animation is good, this needs more likes and comments.

Oh my god the way you animated them adds so much to their characters, I love Squigly silently getting completely on board with whatever Leviathan wants to do
If I remember, she has a sort of curse that made her mouth all stitched up. So she can't really speak. Though she can speak to Leviathan without speaking since their the same person practically.

according to her expanded backstory Samson causing Filia's amnesia wasnt deliberate it was a side effect of him merging with her to save her life after being injured by Vitelli's goons

According to animations removed in the skullgirl beta, it can be known that the original concept of Samson was much worse, he was going to be a shameless pervert who had eaten Filia's family, luckily they changed the concept
Which explains the removed taunt where Samson pulls Filia's shirt to reveal her chest.

I only started playing Skullgirls about 2 or 3 years ago. When I discovered it was free with Xbox game pass. Even though I'm not very good at the series I instantly fell in love with it.
And I was really bummed out when I checked out the comments only to discover that this isn't an actual thing.
Don't get me wrong this is a wonderful fan animation and it's full of passion and care. I just really wish this was an actual series because I would definitely give it a watch! Heck I would easily binge watch it!

What’s interesting about Leviathan was he’s named after a sea monster that was referenced from the Book of Job in the Bible, and was known for destroying even the strongest of ships. And Samson was named after an Israelite from the tribe of Dan and referenced from the Book of Judges also in the Bible, known for his long hair and using his Godlike strength to fight against an army of Philistine soldiers but fell for a Philistine woman who later cut his hair and lost his strength soon after. Although the game “Skull-girls” doesn’t really has any affiliation to the Biblical affairs, the plot to the characters makes the game interesting and diverse depending on the characters’ backgrounds stories.
