As I have autism, I couldn’t sleep one night so I turned on this playlist and just doodled on procreate. I ended up making three characters: Rosemary, Daisy, and Cloud. They each had different things that made them unique in some way: Rosemary; missing foot, Daisy; blind and Cloud; a mixed skin tone (meaning, black skin with white splotches, found out it was a real genetic) that night I fell asleep peacefully knowing that I’m not the only one who’s unique (vent)
It's called vitiligo hun, plus good job! I've been dreading drawing for some reason, which is kinda wack cause it helps me process stuff

To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. &
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.

Just met a girl who only speaks spanish. For whatever reason I decided to use a translator. I've never really done that for any other spanish speaker, but when I did it opened my eyes. She's such a nice person, it really makes me want to learn the language just to connect with her.
My brother recently got sent to the hospital and I really needed this to calm down. Thank you for making me smile on one of the worst weeks of my life! Edit: this just keeps showing up on my fyp and my brother got out of the Hospital today! I will keep revisiting this because it made me so happy before.

Thanks, I have ASD and ADHD and this is my go to playlist when I’m overstimulated, I love this playlist
this made me cry. I can't remember the last time I did. it's been at least 3 years since I've had any actual friends (I'm 14). Even though we were toxic to each other, I wish I didn't part ways with her. we really had the same dynamic we couldn't live without each other. Now I fill the gaps with comfort characters and oc. I really regret not getting over my discomfort when I touched/was touched by someone because I didn't even give her a hug. the closest thing to that was when I held her hand while running beside a moving train. our friendship really felt like a dream.
I'm in a pretty similar situation, she was toxic but I miss her. I was kinda scared of her so was uncomfortable when she hugged me but we had such great times together

I used to find these playlists when I was a maladaptive daydreamer, but I've changed so much and grown so much the past few years, and now I listen to them just for the vibes.
I still daydream a lot, but it's not bad anymore. It's not escapism. Instead, I get up and do something while listening to playlists like these. I can still wander around in the forests of my mind, but in a much better, healthier way, and I get things done and take care of myself. :]

As a very sensitive, creative, hyperactive-minded person, I still struggle with prioritizing my real life over the fantasy ones in my head, but we learn from experience, right?
Every time I fall into a cycle of neglecting my outward, real-life needs, I tend to turn to escapism to ignore those problems, and then everything turns cruddy, and I only want to escape and avoid it more.
It takes a little practice and awareness to avoid those vicious cycles, especially when they are related to trauma (and, boy, don't get me started on the trauma you aren't even aware of) but with the help of others, it gets easier. Having some people who at least understand a bit of why you may do the things you do, who live around you, is very helpful, because sometimes they can see things you don't even see yourself, and they can help keep you accountable.

For real. I met a random stranger on Pinterest and just kinda talked. They were super nice and very fun to talk with. They could make a simple topic seem so complex. We started a convo over how Wilbur's voice is just so... Like... Indescribable? Like I have fallen asleep to his voice multiple times. It's weird, yeah but the quieter songs are just so calming and soothing. Specially with his accent lol

I don't have a comfort character, but just lately I made my own!
Her name is Luuyumi, she's 6'1 ( a gentle giant ) she likes hoodies no matter the weather, she has long brown hair that reached down to her feet, and although it usually drags against the ground, it's never dirty or tangled. She lets people braid her hair when they're stressed, and she's good at listening. She has vitiligo, and scars covering her body, but that doesn't seem to bother her, she has this weird presence, her voice is so gentle and kind. She has a soft face, and rosy cheeks. And dazzling emerald eyes that although are beautiful, they're just the right shade of green to set your heart aflutter. She's a god of flowers and trees.

The wind brushed branches out of the way for this tall child.. It seemed as if even the trees made way for her. She was majestic. In a way no human should. it was mesmerizing. Her hair was brown, but a strange thing happened when she stood in the light. Even you knew that the gods had favoured her. The first and second song are just perfection [love all but this are the best]✨ btw on halloween I was outside with a friend of mine. And we meet this girl her name is Samantha and we were the day after halloween outside with her and she gave me this warm and nice feeling. We wrote in the night on discord and she wrote that she is having feeling for me. I was stunned and replied that I have feeling for her too. She asked me out and omfg were just dating now. I’m super happy, I’m going to meet her Saturday again. I saw her the whole week except today bc she weren’t allowed to go outside :( it was just love on the first sight ❤

Last night I had a dream that Ranboo hugged me. It was the happiest I've been for a while. I give hugs all the time, to friends who are hurting, but the only hugs I ever receive burn like half-dried embers, hugs or handshakes or absent pats on the shoulder from my guardians. This hug felt real, though. He was accurately tall as shit, since I know someone who's that tall in my life, and couldn't wrap his arms around my 5'6" self to save his life. He had his mask on and a grey/purple, blocky hoodie. It was the happiest I've been since I last saw my best friend in June of 2022.

Not at all sometimes a dream is all you need, I hand a dream I was just messing around in the park with Tommy late at night and it made me unessasarly happy. It felt real and freeing, we rode a train (somthing I’ve always wanted to do) and just were people.

It's not! I had multiple dreams of Wilbur/quackity and I think it's because they're my comfort streamers. I love their personalities and I just can't find any friends with the same traits, they're very unique and I think if more people were like them I'd be a total extrovert lol. I had a dream that Wilbur hugged me and I felt it in real life. I can't replicate it now, but it felt nice. It's not pathetic, we just yearn to have companions that understand us and people that we can relate to.

The first time I ever heard "please never fall in love again" was back in 2018. It was recommended to me by a friend while I was still finishing up elementary school. I learned it and would play it all the time, even outside of my school at break. It became a huge comfort song for me. Hearing it again in my last year of high school, this time as a cover by a creator who has had a huge influence on me over the past couple years...
It brought back all of those memories of playing guitar outside, barely able to play the strings right when my hands would become numb due to Canadian winter. I had no clue this cover of the song even existed. Hell, I was even starting to forget the song itself existed. I think I'm going to go try and relearn it now.

I don’t have a comfort character but I have a safe space artist! He brings me so much warmth and motivates me to become a better version of myself! He does this weekly stream where he gives us a virtual hug at the end! It’s my favourite part of the week! It's 5am and I haven't fallen asleep yet. It's happening again. I'm unable to fall asleep, nomatter if I get into bed at 1am. I don't understand why but this is comforting for me. I feel in colours and this playlist is Cream and Sage green. It also feels like putting headphones and laying in the middle of a field and just immersing in the music and amasing weather. A classmate of mine sent me this playlist earlier since she knew that I've been upset about my other classmate making fun of me for having a certain type of comfort characters ever since the first day of school. These comfort characters are the only ones keeping me away from actually committing suicide so it was saddening that I had to be made fun of just because of how different they are to that classmate's tastes. I don't think I'd like to specify which comfort characters they are since I'm afraid I'll be made fun of for it as well, but one of them is in my profile picture as of December 24 of 2022 (a.k.a right now).
I know that some fans of the franchise don't really like the character in my profile picture because of the personality he develops in the later installments and how much of an unecessary character he is, but something about him makes me think that he is unique and quite loveable. Although, my classmate makes fun of him in front of me and knows that I like him dearly.
Another character of the same franchise only appeared in at least 2-3 games (with the most latest appearance being just a skin themed after her) but I always found her unique, before the remake got released even. I kinda feel like I'm just insane when I admit that I never found those anime eyes she used to have so creepy. I mean, I'm probably kinda ok with that design just because I used to draw with huge ass eyes before the remake came out. But then, despite her lack of appearances, she manage to still have a special place in my heart.. for almost 4 years now.
And, I'm glad that another classmate decided to send me this playlist. I'm thankful that you created this playlist. I didn't feel like crying at first at all but suddenly I started releasing so much tears when the 3rd song played. That classmate making fun of me and my comfort characters really impacted my mental health a lot that it utterly hurts me a lot just remembering the negative things they said about me and my comfort characters. So thank you very much, really.
What franchise is it? I can't tell, but it sounds cool. Then I can look at it, and we can nerd out over it! ^^

My comfort character has to be sunny, from wings of fire. It’s probably a weird comfort character to have, but if you meant from a show, it’s Kurapika Kurta from HxH. When I read book 5 and realized how she felt, being ignored and stuff, I immediately know how she felt. My whole time at my school, for 3 years, everyone forgets about me. They forget I’m in the room, they forget I exist. I honestly don’t mind, but it can hurt from time to time, but that’s OK. I will just ignore it like I always do :)

Oh cool! I wanna share mine too! My comfort characters are Nugget, Carla and Monty from Kindergarten 1 and 2! Carla and Monty just became my comfort characters bc of Carlonty being my comfort ship :D Nugget is just like me fr. The Kindergarten fandom remains small after 2019 but it's still kicking! >:D

We're sharing comfort characters now? Mkay, well I have a few that I still love.
1: Severus Snape from Harry Potter. He's such a blunt man, cruel at times, but he at least kept students safe from blowing up the classroom.
2: Fluttershy from My Little Pony. She is such a relatable character to me, quiet and nice and loves animals.
3: Magnus Rasmodious from Stardew Valley. He practices magic and he's such a cool character to talk to, even if the dialogue gets repetitive at times.
4: Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon. I could go on for hours about the dragons in there, and how Hiccup is simply an amazing person.
5: I made this character up, but his name is Eli. He's got slivery, long white hair that he keeps in a braid, and his eyes are grey-blue. People can never decide between which of the two his eye color is, which both amuses and exasperates him Eli. He's got a face scar that's in the shape of an x, and it goes just above one eye and across the bridge of his nose, while the other part of it crosses just about the bridge of his nose and goes just underneath his right eye. He wears glasses that are oval shaped, and he normally has something around his neck, but it's not too tight or too loose. There's a metal ring inside there that protects his neck. He's generally a nice person, but quiet because he doesn't really want to draw attention to himself.
I could go on for hours about any of them if asked... Particularly about dragons...
Sometimes i just totally disassociate and imagine things and this was one of those times ❤
my comfort character is technically a real person that has a character connected to her, she's known as Niki Nihachu and sometimes she is my only motivation for taking care of myself

That happens to me to! I love calming playlists but they always make me feel like crying. Personally they make my thoughts just go away for a bit and it gives me time to process my emotions and deteriorating mental health.

"Last cup of coffee" made me think of my best friend/soulmate who i recently lost. She was on 34 when she passed :( we had made a promise to grow old together. we were going to love together and take care of each other despite not being a a couple (soulmates dont have to be a coupe btw) and then this happened. I dont want to go into detail as its still very raw and painful, but this song just made me think of our promise to each other and now that will never happen.
