  • What is the defining image of New Years Day in Japan? Why is this time of year culturally important here? What are my New Year's resolutions? Why won't I be visiting Ise Jingu during the New Years holiday? What am I planning with my channel this year? These are some of the questions I will answer (poorly) in this video. Thank you for watching anyway. Have a great year, friends! 🍻

Jordan, my wish for 2023 for your channel (I can hardly believe that is a year) is for you to pretend you are a tour guide for your area and show us things we need to experience in real life--(not so much shrines) but beer pubs, restaurants, scenic areas, local legends.

Great set of resolutions! I’m sure that you can accomplish many or most of them.
