  • A U.S. Coast Guard patrol boat crew based in Valdez, Alaska performs a simulated search of a yacht suspected of picking up radiological materials from the water in the Gulf of Valdez during the Arctic Eagle 18 exercise.
    Arctic Eagle 18 is an Alaska statewide exercise involving national, state and local agencies designed to provide opportunities for participants to conduct sustained operations in arctic conditions. The goals of Arctic Eagle 18 are for participating forces to operate in a joint, inter-agency, and intergovernmental and multinational environment; assess ability to conduct sustained operations in arctic conditions, and integrate new and emerging capabilities.

    The last time I was boarded and asked if I had and weapons on board I simply stated “none of your business”.
    If you can carry a sidearm and M4 why do you have a problem with the Glock in my holster? 🤷🏼‍♀️
    14 USC 89? Something like that.
    Yea that gives you a loophole around my 4th amendment rights. Doesn’t give you any authority over my 2nd amendment rights.

      Because you can shoot them when your gun is on you and ad the fact that they don’t know if you have illegal things on your boat because last time I checked people with illegal substances and guns usually shoot coast guards that’s why they want to know if you have weapons on you

    • @tysenp8193
      @tysenp8193 Před 3 lety +1

      It’s a training exercise, but the main reason they would be searching in that scenario would be because the satellites had enough radioactive material on them to be harmful after a few hours exposure. In that case they are an environmental hazard and would need to be disposed of to prevent pollution.

    The 4th amendment rights are constantly violated by the coast guard. if anyone takes the time to read the 4th amendment it clearly states that unless there is suspicion of a crime no law enofrcement agency has the right to board your vessle, enter your home, or go through your personal effects. however the coastguard does this every time they board an americans boat without a warrant or suspicion of a crime. this country and its constitution, laws, and our rights have been flushed down the perverbial toilet along with our freedom's and liberties. this is all due to congress passing bills that violate every aspect of the constitution and bill of rights. these bums have been wiping their asses with the bill of rights and constitution for decades and I for one and tired of the over reach and the death of liberty in this country
