I really liked this info :)
Thank you :)
I think I mean to say he's 'cadencing', not 'modulating'. They're cadences.
The bar after [6] is quite interesting; F Maj - D [Bb + F = d] min - [What's D/G#/D/F? a] diminished 7th [without the B] or an implied E7 [V7] - A Maj
Hello, thanks for your question. I currently don’t have a score to hand, but I’ll give this a go. I’m not following what you’re saying about the D min being Bb + F. This is surely Bb major? I think that if you add an A to this, it is Bb, D, F, G sharp (Ab) which is a Bb 7, yes? Then Bb major 7 to F major would be like flattened V7 - I if the key was F major. I’ll have another look at the score as soon as I get a chance, but let me know if this clears things up for now.
I think by 'Bb + F = d minor' I meant Key wise not chord wise, i.e. Bb = flat 6 /F = flat 3
CHORDS: C - F - [Bb/D/E/G = g6? ] - A7 - d - A7/d - a - [ D+G#+F(+B) = dim7 * OR * (G#+D = implied) E 7 ] - A // D7
maybe i'm just too tired / out of practice. I stopped Studying music 20+ years ago
