IDE68K + GottaGo 8MB Fast RAM IDE interface for Amiga 500 Plus 1000 2000 and CDTV

Here is my opinion on IDE68K + GottaGo with 8MB fast RAM IDE interface it will work on Amiga 500 Plus 1000 2000 and CDTV, it is a pretty good device, but some design flaws have to be fixed

Good review! I totally agree with all your observations and I had to do the same things you did - split the power cable and connect those two clip cables directly to the motherboard next to the side expansion slot. I am used to making my own modifications, so these were not deal breakers for me, but I agree these options should have been mentioned in the manual. As for the pin length, some A500s had crappy sockets installed at the factory, so that could be part of the problem. And finally, I also believe hard drive size limit with kickstart 1.3 is 1GB, so that explains why the 4GB card would not work. Still, even with all these minor issues, I think this board provides good value for the money.

I got black screen on my revision 5 when ide pulled in probably some capacitors/memory issues

I thought the black screen had something to do with Gary chip, try to reset it, and if there's any corrosion clean it before turning it on
