Thank you for joining me for this Holiday 2023 beauty routine. I wanted to film a get ready with me video while I show you some new makeup products that I purchased for Holiday 2023. I wanted to review some hot new makeup products. I purchased the new Givenchy Prisme Libre skin caring highlighter in Rose extravaganza from their Holiday 2023 makeup collection. I also purchased one of the new Hermes eyeshadow palettes Ombres d’Hermes in 01 ombres petales and one Valentino makeup Eye2Cheek palette. I will share with you my full review of these products and I will show you everything on my face. What do you thik of these new makeup releases? Have you tried anything?

Lexi Jong recommended the Valentino Eye/Cheek color in Emozione. I'm Light like you, and that color is just perfect. It reminds me of last Spring's Fantasie, by Chanel, except the shimmer is more gold than silver. Perfect as a radiant blush or blush topper. You might like that color too. Also, watching you, I'm very glad that I have a backup bottle of Dior's Fortune nail color from last year. A great red. I'll be switching to that for my next manicure. You look lovely. Thank you for showing the Gucci and Givenchy highlighters together. I don’t have either of them, but added the Gucci to my list! I appreciated the subtle glow it added. I think it will also be nice to add a little more dimension to my Haus Labs foundation-I never expected Haus to become my all-time favorite base, but the color and feel on the skin is so good, it just needs some more radiance in my humble opinion.

I have all Hermes eyeshadow quads and they are the most innovative formulation I’ve seen in the market! I think the Valentino blush u bought would look good layered over a warmer blush something like Chanel jersey as a blush topper . I bet that would be beautiful.
Oh goodness, just when I thought I don’t need anything I’m so tempted now to try this Hermes shadows, it looks stunning on you and it’s exactly what I like - too pigmented shadows are not my cup of tea. Women in light completion look so good on subtle eyeshadow colors 😭 I'm light-medium skin and colors don't show the way they look on Angela. I also agree colors are not attractive on pan, but look amazing on Angela. All eyeshadows she uses

I finally bought the Givenachy highlight today. I told myself just order it you wanted it and if you dont do it now it will disappear just like the rest of the stuff you wait on ..lol idk why they would make it limited they dont have a liquid highlighter in the permanent collection so it makes sense to keep it and everyone i have seen absolutely loves it also its liquid its not going to last as long as a powder highlight so people will want to repurchase it . I wanted to get it when it came out but i bought a few pink highlights the Tom Ford rose iris the KJH lite pink the Lisa Eldridge pink moon then i also have some others and told myself i dont need it but need and want is different 😂 and i didnt want Fomo . I have been waiting for the Valentino #4 shade to come back instock forver it seems like # 9 is also on my list and its been sold out too . I was going to get them with my holiday gift cards i got but i have been waiting sense beginning of Nov because i was going to buy it myself then and it hasnt restocked in over 2 months.
Hi Angela,
For me Hermes eyeshadows are actually very pigmented (I have light skin tone- B20 Chanel Le Beige foundation, Alabaster- Chantecaille Future Skin foundation). I have 03 and 06 and I tried in store (on my eyelids) 01 and 04. I think the lighter colour from the quad you picked is very close to your skin colour and that’s why is not very visible.
When you use the pink colour for your cheeks you need a smaller brush (ex.: Surratt Artistique Cheek brush or Chikuhodo Z4). Anyway I love Hermes eyeshadows and i’ll buy 01 and 04 very soon.
Valentino makeup is not available in Australia and I don’t use highlighter.

You could almost use the Hermes eye pallet for cheeks,eyeliner,and two subtle eyeshadow shades. I recently bought a Kevin Aucoin powder highlighter,opulent finish in Incandescent. I'm new to highlighter so I thought it would be easier to manage.

Angela, hello sweet friend. For that Hermes pallette if one wanted to get better pigment I would suggest using a Mac paint pot in a nude shade, or merit beauty, or Danessa Myricks to lay down a a richer primer then go in with the pallette. Merry Holidays ❤
The Givenchy highlighter reminds me of the Westman Atelier drops. I purchased the Hermes quad you are using, and I can try again - probably without the silver sheen and not sure about the pink. You do look beautiful in this makeup but then again - you truly ARE beautiful ❤
I am going to get the highlighter. I was waiting for your review and try-on video to make a decision and it looks so beautiful. I am close to your skin tone, maybe a bit cooler under-toned but very, very fair so I know it will work for me. I have been eyeing the Hermes palettes and plan to get one but haven't decided which one. I was already leaning towards 01 but also like all of the others except maybe the one with the blue shade. Two of the palettes seem like they would lend themselves to very subtle but elegant application and those are 05 and maybe 06 if you do not use the bright gold color. 03 would work perfectly as applied like you have 01 with the orange/coral/peach color working well on eyes and cheeks. The green palette is also quite stunning. Now you see my dilemma, I cannot decide and don't want to buy them all. I will likely end up with 2 or 3. I think the Valentino looks lovely on you but I am not sure it will work for me. I think the undertone may appear as a bruise on my cheek but if paired with the right blush, it might work. I am in Seattle for the Thanksgiving holiday and plan a day of shopping on Sunday so I will be checking these all out. I just discovered that there is a boutique Hermes shop in the town of Bellevue, Washington and it is on the way to where we are spending Saturday. We like to go to a small town that is near Seattle and it is full of quaint little shops and cafe's.

I love that all of these products here are multi purpose. You look stunning, Angela! I don’t think the blush was a big deal, not at all. I tried these products in store and I guess I would get the Givenchy highlighter. The other products are lovely, but it would hurt my bank account for now. Hi! Thank you for demoing these new items. I really like the Givenchy highlighter - much better than the Gucci highlighter. The 3 neutral shades in the Hermes eye quad are great - I am not crazy about the bright pink shade even as a blush. I love Valentino blush/eye palettes - I have 3 - I think that #3 and #9 would be great shades for you. Have a great weekend.

I wish the Givenchy had worked for me because the packaging really is gorgeous. It pained me to throw away the concealer, peach corrector, and green corrector, but each one broke me out every time, alone and mixed with other products. So sad, because I really wanted them to work, and my skin isn’t that fussy, but there’s something in them that really doesn’t agree with it. 😢 Thanks for the video, have a beautiful day, Angela! ❤
I just love all your videos! I have to watch all of them, learn very much, and actually find them calming in a stressful life. Luckily I got a hold of the lancome calendar on sale, but that was about all as I was in hospital all black week for surgery. Just came home yesterday, and your videos are the only ones I've watched. Unfortunately, we don't have access in Norway to most of the products you show us, but still, I love watching. Wish I one day could get 'rich' and visit Italy and France. To shop these goodies and explore the countries, culture, people, food, etc.

I really like that Givenchy highlight. It is very pretty. I am unsure about the Hermes eyeshadows. The squares + circles really bother my sense of design. I'm not sure why they did that pattern. 🤣 I think this color looks a little like Chanel's tisse cambon? Thank you for the video!

What shade do you use in the prisme libre concealer?
