I would think you use shorter wood and hammer the nails into the ground so as the wood burns it doesn't tip over and you can adjust the height of the apparatus to the flame.

They need to install a Keppy fan motor on that wood burning stove that recharges stuff to operate that fan so it's extremely efficient that way it doesn't drain battery life much at all.
