We don’t show character sharing about their life experiences there missions , what they eat, how they excrete, after exactly how much time in bed they fall asleep. So the thing is we already know they have interacted in between the scenes which does not happen in western cinema that literally have to show you guys every detail like spoonfeeders😂😂😂
You got it right. They are cousins ... raised as brothers by queen mother. The father (M.Bahubali) is same actor as the son (A.Bahubali / Shiva) ... and that's why the people confuse him for his father whom the people loved very much. Parts of this movie was rather cheesy, but overall, still very entertaining [if you don't start splitting hairs about technical finesse].

I love the format of Baahubali! It's like a machete order Star Wars watch (opening, extended flashback, finale), with amazing montages and crazy wild action.

He won against the combined forces of major European powers five times by that tactic. Of course, you don't about Napoleonic wars. Hitler was obsessed with Napoleon and how successful he was in conquering all of Europe. "Do your research" has become such a cliche now. I think you will enjoy the "romantic" aspects of Part II quite a bit more. That aspect of Part I is told very badly for the appreciation of non-Indian audiences, since it relies on a number of tropes from older Indian cinema in the telling/reveal, and as a result Mahendra/Shivudu comes off rather poorly to modern Western sensibilities. Although yes, there is also a lot of Indian cultural baggage there too. And yes, you really have to look at it through a mythic lens, as it is drawn heavily from tales from the Mahābhārata. So yes, he is the Indian Hercules.
Writing this half way through the video. Indian cinema story telling is not linear and time-bound. They jump through time gaps from scene to scene. Where did he get the horse? He got it from the same soldiers who tried to attack them. The magic pen is just modern thinking. People used to write and paint without modern pens, no magic in it. She falling in love in first sight - no she wanted to kill him , but surrendered to his resolve when he said he climbed that impossible maintain to get to her. Girls fall for a flower, and she risked his life to get to her. And about strength and intelligence, Hercules is the best you can think of, and for indians Hercules is just a puny among the other mighty indian characters.
