Where in Tyria am I?

Hello everyone and welcome back to some Guild Wars 2 Geo Guesser! Today, I am beginning my journey towards a slightly ambitious goal of achieving a "perfect game." Where I get all 20 locations perfectly correct.
For anyone who doesn't know what GeoGuesser is, this is an iteration of the classic GeoGuessr game but in the world of Tyria! The objective of the game is to figure out where you are in the world based on a singular screenshot. The closer you are, the more points you get!

I tried your link before watching the video and got 9972, definitely got lucky on the Arborstone one though, I guessed just SW of the instance and missed it by 18 points. I agree that all pictures seem to be taken from the ground, that could have helped you in instances like the first location where your height indicated how far up the mountain slope you were.

it's kinda funny but my first reaction to the 2 you missed were "hmm I think it's an inquest jp or like vexa's lab or something...?" and "arborstone!" but then I was convinced by you that it's somewhere else XD I feel like when you're this familiar with gw2 maps maybe fast snappy instant response would help? like instinctually feel for it or something. but I kinda love that even with how much time you spent exploring there are still places that you may have never seen before. kinda cool!
edit: oh yeah north of I thin iron marches there were mordy vines! I remember that area cuz it was part of lw2 story iirc, and i remember struggling cuz mordrems hit so hard when I was still on core prof and like green and yellow gear XD

Yeah, I think next time I do GW2 Geo Guesser I'm gonna do the 1 minute limit to force the faster responses and see how I do.

Hey Athis, I've seen you play this game a couple times before and sometimes it's good to keep in mind where you'd have to actually stand (up high) to take some of these photos like the first one, you wouldn't be able to get the angle and I think if I'm not wrong that all of these are taken on foot without mounts or anything else, would love to see more of these kinds of videos!
