I love these strips. They are beautiful! I need to make some. My scrap pile runneth over! 😆 🤣 😂 I don't know why some folks would question what you are using to craft with. You have no reason to lie. SMH I made some clusters and a page edge using the waxed paper, and it really does work! ❤😊

Nice idea! I like that strip down the middle. I’d tape down the tape ends at first to hold it down but that’s me. I’m fumble fingers with tape.
At Christmas time, I made belly bands using double sided carpet tape.. using my scraps.. I love the way they turned out.. I will definitely try using masking tape as well.. Thanks for sharing this project!
Fun project! Great tip about using knitting needle caps for the top of the Sugar Belle containers. I could never get the Sugar Belle ones to stay on.

I love this idea I've used paper tape that you use for bandages before ❤😊
The last time my husband was in the hospital, I confiscated a whole roll of medical tape. The nurse said they would probably dispose of it and she liked the idea of it having a new life. I also took the wipes and the dry square towels (4 x 4). My husband just shook his head and said she’s a crafter.

Great idea.... how about turning top and bottom of masking tape over slightly to hold onto mat surface, will make tape stable when working on it and stop tape moving about.... thanks for sharing your creative ideas, keep safe and well...best wishes Jill UK xx

I made one and do like it so will make more. And I want to thank you for the idea for the bottle caps. I ordered a set so will see how they work even on the other bottle tips. I am not a knitter so this is truly a new idea to me. Again thank you.
Love it! ❤ I might try folding back a little bit at top and bottom of tape. Then stick the folded part of ends to the mat. Should keep the tape in place and easier to work with. Just clip ends off when clipping it to size.

hi, I really like this project idea! I have been looking to incorporate my scraps. This does the trick and I love the way it looks. It can be a bellyband or it can be used a little wider and as a pocket, and even as an embellishment on a scrapbook page. I love it! ❤👏🏻 🎉 tks for sharing.

Loved yr video- I did make a belly band using up all the negative parts of using dies along the way were saved to add something something on yr projects - just love it, thks for the idea!!

These are fantastic! You could put lace behind the long piece for a peek a boo effect, you could even put an eyelet at the top and tie some string to it or hang a dangle or some beads, they would make a great book mark too. Thanks for the inspiration, I always watch your videos when I'm stuck for ideas, you're so creative.
